Padmashree Dr. DY Patil University Navi Mumbai is a NAAC 'A'graded institution dedicated to teaching and research in faculties medicine and engineering. At present this university provides ug and pg coursework (master programs) and research (Ph.D.) in faculties of medicine, engineering and technology, hotel management, business administration and education. An All India Entrance Test (AIET) is conducted for admission to these courses. This university is known and respected for its superior learning infrastructure and best aspirants support services. University provides different courses having course level undergraduate (UG)and postgraduate (PG); programmes in these course levels are discussed as following in different branches:

Undergraduate course:

  • B.Ed – (2 years)

Postgraduate course:

  • M.A – (2 years)

The aspirant can get admission to the above-mentioned B.Edcourses via BAIET entrance test.

The aspirant can register themselves to the above-mentioned courses by submitting the registration fee of amount Rs. 1500/-by DD/cash.

Eligibility

B.Ed

  • 5% relaxation in total marks will be given to aspirants belonging to S.C. / S.T. / V.J.N.T. / OBC/PWD and other notified categories as per the Maharashtra State Government Rules.
  • An aspirant must possess Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics of any recognized university with at least marks decided by the state of Maharashtra and NCTE from time to time
  • Aspirants should have passed the Bachelor’s /Master Degree in Sciences, Social Sciences/Humanities/Commerce of any other university recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC).

MA

The aspirant must possess graduation degree from this university or any other recognized university.

  • The aspirant must have to submit an application form and all the attested documents at the following address:
  • Aspirants can register themselves by submitting the entrance test fee of amount Rs. 1500/- for B.Ed and MA courses by DD drawn in favor of “D. Y. Y. Patil University” Navi Mumbai from a Nationalized /Scheduled Bank, payable at Navi Mumbai / Mumbai.

  1. SSC, HSC, Graduation marks sheet.
  2. Xerox copies of each mark sheet, certificate and degree certificate

  4. Original gap certificate along with three Xerox copies (if any gap is there between the last exam and till the date of joining B.Ed.)
  5. TC/ Leaving Certificate.
  6. Original Migration certificate along with three Xerox copies.
  7. Gazette along with the affidavit

Admission Procedure

B.Ed & MA

Selection of the aspirant will be based on the rank secured in the merit list in BAIET entrance examination.

Reservation Criteria

  • Reservations of seats will be as per the directives of the Government of India
  • 15% seats are reserved for the Foreign National / PIO / NRI category aspirants.

Counseling procedure:            

The physical presence of the aspirants at the time of counseling is essential.

Aspirants must bring original documents for verification at the time of counseling.
