Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU), recognised under the UGC Act 1956, was founded by the government of Andhra Pradesh in 2008. In addition to the main Vishakhapatnam campus and two founded centres at Kadapa and Nizamabad, the university has an upcoming campus in Sabbavaram.
The University provides the following 4 programmes (Undergraduate/ Postgraduate) to its students every year:
Post Graduate Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution – (1 year)
LL.M. – (1 year)
LL.B. LL.M. – (4 years)
B.A. LL.B – (5 years)
Only aspirants who have passed the 10+2 qualifying examination can register for admission to the B.A. LL.B. programme. Selection of the aspirant for admission to B.A. LL.B. programme will be done on the basis of marks scored in the CLAT examination.
Aspirants can register themselves for CLAT examination by submitting the related application form along with the fee amount of Rs. 4000/- (for unreserved/ OBC/ SAP category aspirants) and Rs. 3500/- (for SC/ST category aspirants).
Fees can be submitted via the available online/ offline payment modes. International aspirants can register themselves by submitting the application fee amount of Rs. 5000/- via demand draft (DD).

Bachelor of Arts + Bachelor of Laws [B.A.L.L.B.] {Hons}
Aspirants who are appearing in qualifying examination in April/May 2017 are also applicable for admission to B.A. LL.B. programme
Aspirant should have passed HSC or equivalent 10+2 examination with minimum 45% marks (for Unreserved/ OBC/ Specially Abled aspirants) and 40% marks (for SC/ST aspirants)
Eligibility for NRI/ foreign nationals/ NRI sponsored category aspirants:
Aspirant should be less than 20 years of age as on July 1, 2017 and 22 years in case of SC / ST / BC aspirants
Aspirant should have passed HSC/intermediate or equivalent examination recognised by the university with at least 45% aggregate marks

Finished applications, along with the fee and necessary enclosures, should be submitted, in person or by post, within the stipulated time to the following address:
The aspirant will then proceed to the “Payment of the Application Fee” section where the fee can be submitted either online or via Challan. DD should be drawn in favour of ‘Registrar, Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University’ and payable at Visakhapatnam
Upon successful registration, aspirants will receive CAPS User ID and Password on the E-mail address and Mobile number offered by them
Aspirants can register themselves via CAPS (CLAT Online Application Procedure System) only, available at the official CLAT website “www.clat.ac.in”
After logging in with his/her User ID and password, the aspirant should fill the online application form and upload his/her scanned photograph, signature, birth certificate and category certificate

Three choices of CLAT examination cities
Front facing Passport size complete photograph of the Aspirant with complete lenses
Signature of aspirant
Scanned copy of SC/ST/SAP Certificates in pdf pattern only (if eligible)
Aspirants can submit the application fee of Rs. 4000/- (unreserved/ OBC/ SAP category aspirants) and Rs. 3500/- (SC/ST category aspirants) via net banking, debit card/credit card
The aspirant can also generate a Bank Challan, take its printout and submit the fee via it, in cash, at any ICICI discipline. Upon successful payment, the same will be updated in the aspirant’s profile on the CLAT Online Application Interface
Upon successful payment, the aspirant should download the clearly filled-in application with fee payment details for future references.
For International aspirants:
NRI/ foreign nationals/ NRI sponsored category aspirants can register themselves by downloading the application form and submitting it upon completion, along with the application fee of Rs. 5000/- via DD.

Selection of the aspirant will be based on his/her rank in the merit list of CLAT 2018 examination.
Reservation
85% total seats are reserved for the Andhra Pradesh aspirants and remaining 15% seats shall be unreserved.
If the seats reserved for Andhra Pradesh aspirants are left vacant, such seats shall be filled from the aspirants of other states as per CLAT 2018 ranking.
Seats left vacant for SC, ST and BC aspirants due to unavailability of qualified aspirants shall be treated as unreserved seats.
