It has a non-hierarchical, collegial, liberal university atmosphere. There is also a number of fee-waivers, fellowships and bursaries available to students to ensure that financial difficulties never become an impediment for meritorious students enrolling at AUD.
The University invites Applications for Admission to the postgraduate programmes for the academic year 2016-17. The Programmes provideed are Master of Arts (MA Programme) in different specializations and Master of Business Administration (MBA Programme). Both the programmes are for a period of two years with 42 seats available in the MA Programme. The Admission to the programmes is based on an Entrance Test organizeed by the University followed by an Interview.

Eligibility Criteria:
You should have passed the Bachelor’s Degree Examination in the respective branch from a recognized University with a at least of 50% marks (or an equivalent grade) for general category and 45% marks (or an equivalent grade) for SC/ST/PWD category.
You must have successfully finished a Bachelor’s degree securing minimum 50 % of marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Physically Disabled (PD) category.
If you are appearing in the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and if you have finished degree requirements and are awaiting results, you can also apply.
You should fill the Application Form online only on the University website.
Step 1: You must click on “Admissions 2016” and choose the Under Graduate / Post Graduate programme you are applying for in the drop-down menu on the page.
Step 2: You should then select the programme of your choice and enter your email address and captcha image. The photo should be in JPEG pattern with size less than 50 kb and not be exceeding 200 x 200 pixels.
Step 4: You must then fill in the individual and educational details, and upload a scanned signature.
Step 5: You should review the filled in Application Form and make the necessary changes if any.

Step 7: After successful payment, you should then submit the Application Form. The system will then send a password.
Step 3: You should start filling up the Application Form. You should upload your photo.
You will be selected on the basis an Entrance Test organizeed by the University which will be followed by an Interview.
MBA/PGDM
You will be selected on the basis of an Entrance Examination followed by an Interview. It is an aptitude test comprising two sections intended to assess your ability in the following areas

The admission test will be a 2 hour period which will consist of Multiple Choice Questions.
Out of the total seats, 85% of the seats shall be reserved for those from the National Capital Territory of Delhi in the following proportion:
