Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research (DIPSAR) also known as DIPSAR, provides courses such as D.Pharma., B.Pharma. and M.Pharma. These courses are recognised by both Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).  The last date of sending in your application forms is June 23rd, For all courses. Aspirants aspiring to be a part of these courses can either apply online or offline. There are 60 seats in B.Pharma and 49 seats in M.Pharma programme.

Students must adhere to the DIPSAR eligibility criteria before filling up the DIPSAR application form. Any student not fulfilling these criteria is not applicable to apply. Various criteria are laid out for various courses. Aspirants falling in the reserved category should make sure they check the eligibility details before applying.

Eligibility Criteria for DIPSAR D.Pharm., B.Pharm., and M.Pharm. Admission 2018

B.Pharm

Seats:60

Duration:4 years

Annual Fee: INR. The procedure is strictly on merit basis i.e both in theory and practise together.
  • There will be no reservation of any category for these seats.
  • Aspirants will have to pass the following additional papers viz. Mathematics, Basic Electronics and Computer Science of B. The PWD Students are advised to get themselves registered with Dean, Students Welfare, North Campus, and the University of Delhi in order to consider their cases for admission to Degree and Diploma course
  • B.PHARM – LATERAL ENTRY

    Eligibility

    • Students ready to take admission in the 2nd year of B.Pharma must make note that they have passed the Diploma course in Pharmacy (2 years) from University of Delhi. The aspirants born on/or before 30th September 1999 are applicable to apply for admission to the course.
    • For Persons with Disability (PWD), reservation of seats for the PWD aspirants will be done as per the guidelines of University of Delhi.

      • Aspirants should have scored an aggregate of 60% or above in 10+2 in three subjects, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in CBSE or equivalent Board.
      • An aspirant must have to be minimum 17 years of age before the first day of October, of the year he/ she seeks admission. Only then they will be applicable for admission in 2nd year. 25,390/-

        Aspirants can find below the DIPSAR eligibility criteria for admission in B.Pharm. Pharm 1st year.
      • Aspirants who have passed 10+2 from Open School are NOT ELIGIBLE for admission.
      • Aspirants born on or before 30th September 1998 are applicable for admission to the course.
    • Aspirants who have been honoured grades in the examination which make them applicable for admission should also submit conversion certificate of numerical marks from the related authority.
    • There is a relaxation of 5% for SC/ST students.

    • Aspirants should have scored an aggregate of 60% or above in 10+2 in three subjects, Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Maths in CBSE or equivalent Board, No equivalence or Hr. 1st year.
    • There is a relaxation of 5% for SC/ST students.
    • Aspirants who have passed 10+2 from Open School are NOT ELIGIBLE for admission.
    • An aspirant must have to be minimum 17 years of age before the first day of October, of the year he/ she seeks admission. Pharm. Sec (Vocational Stream) will be considered for admission to D. The aspirants born on/or before 30th September 1999 are applicable to apply for admission to the course. 

    M.Pharm

    Eligibility

    • Aspirants must minimum have scored an aggregate of 60% or above in Bachelor of Pharmacy exam.
    • GPAT qualified students shall be considered for admission first. In case of their unavailability, aspirants with non-GPAT score will be taken on merit basis.
    • Aspirants aspiring to apply for this course must be more than 21 years of age before the 1st day of October, in which he/ she seeks admission. Aspirants born on or before 30th September 1995 are applicable to apply for admission.


    How To Apply for DIPSAR D.Pharm., B.Pharm., and M.Pharm. Admission 2018?

    M.Pharm, Graduate Diploma in Pharmacy & B.Pharm

    Both offline and online options are there for the students. They must also submit the printed copy of online registration form with application fee.

    Online Procedure

    Aspirants must follow the below steps for DIPSAR’s online registration procedure.

    1. Aspirants can visit the official website and apply online to the college for admission. 1000. They may choose from the one convenient for them.

      Offline Procedure

      There are two offline options that the aspirant can choose from.

      1. The aspirant can buy the application form from DIPSAR’s office of Director along with a prospectus priced at INR.1000/-. Payment can be made by cash or demand draft in the name of The Director, Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, New Delhi. 75) by the ordinary post}

      NOTE: Any application received after the closing date, will not be entertained. The cost of the application form and prospectus is INR. It should be accompanied by a self-attested envelope of size 30 cm x 22 cm, duly stamped {(INR.  In case of applying for multiple courses, separate forms should be submitted.
    2. Aspirants can request for the application form and prospectus via the office of Director, Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, by post. Direct applications from foreign students or aspirants from other states, who do not have the proper pharmacy education facilities, should access to:

      1. Aspirants can also download the DIPSAR application form from its official website and can be sent to the Director, DIPSAR, along with all the necessary documents and a demand draft of INR.1000/- in favour of 14 Prospectus Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DIPSAR) Director, DIPSAR. Admission will be made strictly on merit basis i.e. aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying subject prescribed for admission to the course subject to the reservations.

        No print of form will need to be sent to the college.
      1. An acknowledgement slip will be generated online which is a proof that payment must be retained.
      1. Aspirants filling the application forms must submit them along with attested copies of Mark Sheet, Date of Birth, Character Certificate and Special Category Certificate.

      NOTE: Aspirants must carry their original certificates/undertakings at the time of admission.


    Admission Procedure of DIPSAR D.Pharm., B.Pharm., and M.Pharm. Admission 2018

    M.Pharm

    1. Out of the total seats, 15% will be filled by Non-Delhi aspirants with the valid GPAT score and an aggregate of 60% in B.Pharm. Proof of gap period, if any.

      5. The merit list of aspirants will be prepared on the basis of giving 50% weightage to marks obtained in theory paper (II, III and IV) and 50% weightage for GPAT score.
    2. In each discipline first 15% seats for non-Delhi students- 100% GPAT score will be the criteria. After exhaustion of non- Delhi GPAT qualified aspirants, if seats still remain vacant they will be provideed to Delhi-NON GPAT participants. Aspirants can obtain the final merit list of the M.Pharm on the notice board/website of the university
    3. 7. The final merit list for all M.Pharm. categories will be will be displayed on the Notice Board/Website within 30 days after the declaration of B. Pharm results by University of Delhi

    Documents Need for M.Pharm Programme at the time of Admission

    The aspirant must carry following list of original documents at the time of admission:

    1. The non-Delhi aspirants will be allowed to choose their seats first, not exceeding 1 seat in each discipline. 
  • The remaining 85% of the seats will be provideed to graduates who pass out of Delhi colleges/universities with the valid GPAT score. Character Certificate from the school last attended

    6. Two passport size photographs (unattested, coloured)

    Further, if seats still remain vacant the non-Delhi NON GPAT can be considered, if possible.
  • The course begins. In case of more than one aspirant with the same score, preference will be given to the aspirant who is older in age. Provisional Certificate from the College/Institute last attended

    Reservation of DIPSAR D.Pharm., B.Pharm., and M.Pharm. Admission 2018

    The reservation criteria for various categories are mentioned below.

    For SC/SC/OBC:

    1. Out of the total, 22.5% of the seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC aspirants. Their division is below:
    • 27% of seats for OBC within Delhi category
    • 7.5% for ST
    • 15% for SC
    1. In case non-availability of OBC the seats to be converted to general category
    2. All SC/ST/OBC aspirants need to submit their verified certificate from the competent authority with the application form.
    3. Aspirants from Delhi category (SC//ST/OBC) must produce a recent (last 6 months) valid caste and creamy/non-creamy layer certificate (wherever eligible) from the suitable authority of Govt. The non-Delhi SC/ST aspirants have to produce the caste and creamy layer certificate from the competent authority of their respective state. Deepika Aggarwal, Centre for Physiotherapy, DPSRU, in order to consider their cases for admission to Under-graduate courses. The seats are supernumerary do not cross 5% on total intake and are in accordance with the AICTE norms. Class Stipendiary Magistrate/Extra Assistant Commissioner

    5. Administrator/Secretary to Administrator/Development Officer (Lakshwadeep and Minicoy Island).
      1. The reservation of seats during admission will be in accordance with the reservation policy of the Delhi Government. These certificates will be duly verified by the Admission Officers:
      • District Magistrate/Additional District Magistrate/ Deputy Commissioner/Collector/Additional Deputy Commissioner/Deputy Collector/1st Class Stipendiary Magistrate/Extra Assistant Commissioner
      • Chief Presidency Magistrate/ Additional Chief Presidency Magistrate/Presidency Magistrate Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar. of Delhi as given below. Only if OBC aspirants possessing the at least eligibility marks are not available in the OBC category then the vacant OBC seats shall be converted into General Category seats in accordance with the admission schedule notified by the University

      Foreign National & Kashmiri Migrant Aspirants:
      Admission to DIPSAR’s Pharma. courses are granted to aspirants who fulfil DISPAR’s eligibility criteria. These seats are supernumerary and maximum up to 3%.

      It is reiterated that the OBC aspirants under Delhi Category who belong to the ‘Non-Creamy Layer’ and whose castes appear in the Delhi List of the OBCs only shall be applicable to be considered for admission under the Delhi-OBC Category on producing a certificate from suitable authority alloted within last six months only. The unfilled OBC seats available are to be converted to general category.
    • All those OBC aspirants who meet the at least eligibility marks in the qualifying examination shall be applicable for admission in the order of their merit, keeping in view the availability of seats reserved for them
    • If the seats reserved for the OBC remain vacant, the stated seats shall be filled with the OBC students. The aspirants must submit their copy of the application to the university.
      For Physically Handicapped Students:
      The physically handicapped students are advised to get themselves registered with Ms.
    • The OBC aspirants shall be given a relaxation in the at least eligibility in the qualifying examination to the extent of 5% of the at least eligibility marks prescribed for the General Category Aspirants
    • In accordance with the Cabinet judgment No.1869 dated 27/2/12, the percentage of reservation for OBC students will be 27% in the academic.


    Important Notes of DIPSAR D.Pharm., B.Pharm., and M.Pharm. Admission 2018

    GRANT OF FELLOWSHIP (To be governed by rules of AICTE)  

    Following are the details to consider before an aspirant applies for a fellowship:

    • Students shall not receive any emoluments, salary, stipend etc. (2nd year)- The admission schedule will be duly notified on the university website and the notice board. For General Category

      • For B.Pharm. Pharm is a full-time course (i.e, at least from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, in the week)
      • A student must possess 75% of attendance (both in theory and practical) to be applicable to appear in final examination
      • For M.Pharm. (1st year)- The date of merit list and Date of admission will be within 30 days from the date of declaration of B.Pharm 4th year result of University of Delhi
      • It is mandatory for each student to undertake 8-10 hours (per week) of work concerned with teaching and research activities as assigned to him/her by the institute. Any seat falls vacant after withdrawal of any admitted student will be filled up in the same order of merit from the respective category

        No personal communication will be sent

        3. In case a student leaves it midway, he required returning the drawn fellowship amount along with 18% interest
      • The AICTE/Institute/University of Delhi may impose any other conditions as deemed necessary from time to time

      1. (2nd year)- The date of merit list and Date of admission will be within 30 days from the date of declaration of D.Pharm 2nd-year result of University of Delhi
    • Students may have to offer assistance in the projects of Government of India/University Grants Commission/Council of Scientific and Industrial Research/ Industry sponsored or AICTE for which they will be given INR. He/she required offering an affidavit for the same. For Reserved Category

      For M.Pharm. 1500/- per month.
    • M. (1st year) and B.Pharm. This could comprise Under Graduate teaching assistants in the form of organizing tutorials, laboratory classes, development and maintenance of laboratories, assistance in research and development activities undertaken by faculty members, maintenance and operation of computers and other central facilities, assistance in the library etc.

    2. from any other source during the tenure of the course.
  • Scholarships in no circumstance will be more than 24 months
  • No house rent allowance (HRA) will be granted to the student receiving a scholarship
  • Students under sponsored category and foreign students are not applicable for these scholarships
  • The student shall be applicable to medical facilities as per institute/college rules
  • A maximum of 30 days of leaves are allowed in a year in addition to general holidays but is not entitled to vacations i.e. summer, winter etc.
  • Students who wish to receive the scholarship must be admitted to AICTE approved M.Pharm level courses along with their valid GPAT score
  • Students are requested to offer an undertaking that they shall abide by the above-mentioned clauses
  • No student, appearing for the scholarship, is allowed to leave the course midway or appear in a competitive exam.
