Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT) – Deemed to be University is the premier Technological University of Dept. of India. The uniqueness of DIAT is that fresh students have an opportunity to interact with service officers who are doing their M. The students have an opportunity to visit DRDO laboratories & get the opportunity to listen and interact with scientists engaged in different branches carrying out state of art, Research & Development. and share their field experience with them. Tech.
The University invites Applications for admission to the Ph.D. Programme in both Full Time and Part Time courses, in the frontier areas of specialisation for the academic year 2018-19. The Application procedure is partly online and begins from March 30, 2018 (tentative) and partly offline with the submission of the hard copy of the Application Acknowledgment by April 29, 2018 (tentative). The admission is based on the performance in the entrance exam (written test) organizeed by the department related, followed by individual interview.

Eligibility Criteria
For Full-Time Ph.D. Programme:
You should have passed any of the below-mentioned qualifying examinations securing minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA/DGPA:
And you should have qualified in a national level test such as CSIR/UGC NET, Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE), State Level Eligibility Test, accredited by UGC, Rajiv Gandhi National fellowship, NBHM etc.
Age: You should be minimum 28 years as on July 1st, 2017.
For Part-time Ph.D. Programme (without scholarship):
You should fulfil either of the following criteria:
You should apply online through the official website of the Institute. You should apply separately if you seek admission to more than one programme.
Application fee:
You should pay the fee either online or by Demand Draft drawn in favour of Vice Chancellor, DIAT, Pune, payable at Pune.
The application has to be uploaded to the website after filling all the information.
You should take a print out of the Application Acknowledgement generated by the system after uploading of application.
You should then send the hard copy of the Application Acknowledgement along with the DD drawn/proof of online payment and with the self-certified copies of mark lists, certificates and other testimonials, in a sealed envelope super scribed with the name of Ph.D. Program to:

These documents should access DIAT latest by April 29, 2018 (tentative). The application will be procedures only on receipt of the acknowledgement with DD.
Your selection will be based on the performance in the entrance exam (written test) organizeed by the department related followed by individual interview.
The Institute shall implement the reservation policy in Ph.D. admission in accordance with the relevant act of Parliament being in-force at the time.
