Delhi University PG Admission 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor of Education [B.Ed] & Bachelor of Education [B.Ed] (Special Education) (Mental Retardation)

Age Limit: There is no age limit in Delhi University and its respective colleges for admission to Post Graduate courses.

Educational Qualifications:

B.Ed Special Education (Mental Retardation) and B.Ed. Programme

Delhi University provides two-year B.Ed programme at Central Institute of Education and it also provides B.Ed special Education programme only at Durgabai Deshmukh College of Special Education.

  • No of Seats for B.Ed Special Education: 30 Seats
  • No of Seats for B.Ed: 350 Seats

Eligibility Criteria: You should have passed with at least 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Science/Social Science/Humanities/Commerce or BE/B.Tech Degree with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.

For SC/ST aspirants, they must have passed only in the qualifying degree examination.

OBC, Children/Widows of Armed Personnel, including Para-Military Personnel, killed/disabled in Action (C/WAP), Persons with Disabilities (PWD) category aspirants will be allowed an exemption of 5% marks in the minimum qualification marks.

B.P.Ed

No of Seats: 50 Seats

Eligibility Criteria: You must have a

  • Bachelor’s degree with 45% marks and having participated in National/Inter University/ State competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in Inter College/ Inter-Zonal/District/ School competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India
  • Bachelor degree in any branch with 50 % marks and having at least participation in the Inter College/Inter-Zonal/District/ School competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India
  • Graduation with 45% marks and at least three years of teaching experience (i.e. trained physical education teachers/coaches)
  • Bachelor degree in physical education with 45 % marks or Bachelor’s degree in any branch with 45% marks and studied physical education as the mandatory/elective subject.

LLB

The University provides three-year LL.B programmes at its respective colleges.

Eligibility Criteria: You must have a Bachelor or Master Degree with 50 % marks (45% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST aspirants) from the Delhi University or any other Indian or Foreign University recognized as equivalent.

LLM

The University provides two or three year LL.M. programmes at its respective colleges.

Eligibility Criteria: You must have 3 years or 5 years LL.B. Degree with 50 % marks (45% for OBC & SC/ST aspirants) from the University of Delhi or any other Indian or Foreign University recognized as equivalent.

For Entrance Category: You must have a

The university provides one-year M.L.I.Sc. programme.

Eligibility Criteria:

For Entrance Category: You must have a

  • B.L.I.Sc. or B.Lib. Degree with minimum 60% marks from Delhi University only.

    Sc. or B.Lib.Sc. Sc. Course with at least minimum 50% marks from Delhi University or any other University as equivalent.
  • Bachelor Degree examination with at least minimum 50% marks from Delhi University or any other University whose examination is recognized as equivalent to the University of Delhi University.

For Merit Category: You should have passed B.LI.

M.Ed

No of Seats: 50 Seats

Eligibility Criteria: You should have a B.Ed/ B.A.B.Ed/B.Sc.B.Ed / B.El.Ed/ D.El.Ed (with an undergraduate degree) with 50% marks from Delhi University or any other University as equivalent.

M.P.Ed

No of Seats: 39 Seats

Eligibility Criteria: You must have a Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Health and Physical Education or equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

Integrated M.Sc.- Ph.D. Combined Degree (Biomedical Research, ACBR)

The total number of seats for M.Sc. and M.Sc.-Ph.D. Combined degree program is 46.

Eligibility Criteria: You must have a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Sciences/Life Sciences/ Zoology/ Botany/ Microbiology/ Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Environmental/Biology/ Biotechnology/ Laboratory Techniques/ B.Pharma/ B.V.Sc. or M.B.B.S. with minimum 55% marks from Delhi University or any other examination recognized by the Delhi University or equivalent thereto.

Delhi University PG Admission 2018 How to Apply?

Master of Technology [M.Tech] (Microwave Electronics) , B.Ed & LLM

You can apply for Post Graduate programmes via online method only. There are given some simple step to submit applications:

Step 1: Visit the official Post Graduate Admission Portal. 

Step 2: Create the login details by clicking on the “Register Here” under the “New User?”

Step 3: After complete this procedure, a verification email will be sent to your email account with a confirmation link.

Step 4: Now log on to the Post Graduate admission portal using “registered email-id” and created “password” to fill the online registration form.

Step 5: Upload following need documents

  • Scanned signature (maximum size: 50kb; Patterns: JPG/ JPEG/ PNG)
  • Passport size photograph (maximum size: 50kb; Patterns: JPG/ JPEG/ PNG)
  • Self-attested copy of Identity Proof (maximum size: 50kb, Patterns: JPG/ JPEG/ PNG)
  • Self-attested copy of Class 10th Certificate (maximum size: 100kb, Patterns: JPG/ JPEG/ PNG/ PDF)
  • Self-attested copy of Caste Certificate, if applicable (maximum size: 100kb, Patterns: JPG/ JPEG/ PNG/ PDF)

Step 6: After upload these documents, Click on “Submit My Profile”.

Step 7: You will now start with the online filing of the registration form by clicking “Apply in New Course”.

Step 8: Fill all need details like education details, courses to apply, admission criteria (Merit or Entrance) etc.

Step 9: Choose exam city

Step 10: After filling all details, Click the “Save Application”.

There are three options available at the bottom of the page, which are: 'Click to Modify Application', 'Pay Fee' & 'My Home'

Make Payment:

After providing complete information, you will proceed with the fee payment by clicking ‘Pay Fee’.

The online Application fee for admission to all Post Graduate Courses

The application fee for Unreserved, OBC and other categoriesINR 500/- for each course
The application fee for SC/ST/PwDINR 250/- for each course

Your application submission procedure will be finished only after payment of the online registration fee.

Delhi University PG Admission 2018 Selection Process

Master of Technology [M.Tech] (Microwave Electronics) , B.Ed & LLM

There are two modes of admission for postgraduate courses in all the Faculties/Departments of Delhi University, except the ones providing inter-disciplinary or professional courses:

  • Via Merit or Direct: 50% of the total intake shall be filled by direct admission of the students of the Delhi University only, on the basis of merit.
  • Via Entrance: Remaining 50% of the seats shall be filled via entrance examination and Interview/Group Discussion.

For exact date of the Entrance Exam of individual courses, you should visit the Post Graduate admission portal.

Entrance examination shall be organized at the Centres situated in the following cities:
