The University boasts of being one of a kind in the state and runs numerous programs for the benefit of downtrodden sections of society. The University runs diploma programs for college dropouts under “Community Polytechnic” scheme. It also has reached to rural women and provides them Certificate course in Nursing Technology.
The University provides graduate, post-graduate, research, and diploma programs in engineering and technology. programs, 7 M.Tech. There are 8 B.Tech. programs, 9 Research programs respectively for full-time and part-time aspirants, and 7 Diploma programs on providing.
The University has provision for both full-time and part-time Ph.D. research aspirants and apart from 5 programs in engineering, it also provides Ph.D. courses in Science and Humanities. In total there are 42 seats for Ph.D. aspirants in different departments at the university including both full time and part time programs. Ideally, the full-time Ph.D. program is of 3 years duration.
DBATU University invites aspirants desirous to take admission in B.Tech. The last date for online application is March 22, 2018 (tentative). Admission to B.Tech programme is totally based on performance in the entrance exam namely MHT-CET organized by the government of Maharashtra. The exam will be held on May 5, 2018 (tentative).
DBATU provides four years B.Tech programmes in following specializations:
B.Tech. Chemical Engineering (60 seats)
B.Tech. Civil Engineering (60 seats)
B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering (60 seats)
Passed with minimum 50% marks in B.Sc. Degree from a recognised University according to UGC. The aspirants of Maharashtra State belonging to backward class categories and Persons with Disability shout score minimum 45% marks in the above mentioned subjects.
Passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with subjects Physics and Mathematics as main subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects, scoring minimum 50 % marks. The aspirants of Maharashtra State belonging to backward class categories and Persons with Disability shout score minimum 45% marks in the above mentioned subjects.

DBATU B.Tech Admission 2018 How to Apply
To apply for Admission in B.Tech in DBATU aspirant will have to first register for MHT CET 2018 at the official website of MHT-CET once the registration is finished the aspirant can make the payment at the disciplines of SBI.
MHT CET 2018 Registration:-
To register online the aspirant needs to visit the official website of MHT-CET and then the aspirant will have to click on MHT CET 2018 Registration.
The aspirant should fill accurate and true information.
Once all the individual and educational details are filled the aspirant will have to upload his/her recent color passport size photograph and a valid signature. The aspirant will have to pay Rs. 800.00 + Rs. 60.00 Bank Commission for Open Aspirants and Rs. 600.00 + Rs. 60.00 Bank Commission for Reservation Category Aspirants.
The MHT CET 2018 Registration page will open and then the aspirant will have to fill in the online form will all the individual details.
When the payment is made the bank will enter the following information on the printed bank challan,
The date of payment,
Journal No/Bank Transaction ID
Discipline Name & Code
And a bank seal on each part of the bank challan.
The aspirant must clear their registration and make the payment before the last date of filling the application form.
After confirming that the Bank transaction ID No. and date of payment has been updated, click on the generate MHT CET Confirmation Page, a Confirmation Page will open, the aspirant will have to save this page and print it.
After 24 hours of making the payment, the aspirant must log in to MHT CET 2018 registration using his/her MHT CET 2018 Registration No and password.
The size of the photograph and signature should not exceed 50KB (each) and should be in "Jpeg" pattern or else the online application system will not allow uploading files.
After uploading Signature and Photograph the aspirant correctly uploaded, the aspirant will have to download and print the MHT CET bank challan.The bank challan will have the following information about the aspirant

Name of the aspirant
Date of registration
After printing the challan to make the payment after 48hrs of registration the aspirant will have to take this challan to the SBI Discipline.
DBATU B.Tech Admission 2018 Selection Procedure
The aspirants will be selected on the basis of their performance in the MHT CET- 2018. The entrance exam will be held on May 05, 2018 (tentative).
The Common Entrance Test is divided into 3 parts
Mathematics- 100 marks.
Physics and Chemistry- 100 marks (50 each)
Biology (Botany and Zoology)- 100 marks (50 each)
