Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAV) formerly known as University of Indore was founded in 1964 by an Act of Legislature of Madhya Pradesh. It is a state public university recognised by UGC and approved by AICTE. The university is an ‘’A” grade university as accredited by NAAC. The University provides admission to the following Post Graduate programs for the year 2018-19: The university has more than 300 affiliated colleges imparting education at Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate levels in basic and professional branches.

Aspirants who have passed graduation degree in the concerned or related discipline can apply for the above mentioned Under Graduate programs. The reservation of seats is done in accordance with the policy of Madhya Pradesh government according to which only the domiciles of the State are applicable for the same. Seats are reserved for the aspirants belonging to the SC/ST/OBC categories/Kashmiri migrants/children of freedom fighters etc.
The registration can be done by filling and submitting the online application along with the necessary documents and procedures fee on or before May 19, 2018. Admission to Post Graduate Programs shall be based on the merit of the aspirant in the Common Entrance Test-2018.The CET is organizeed by the university every year for the aspirants, who intend to seek admission in different courses provideed by the University.

General Eligibility:
Only the aspirants (male) who are under 28 years of age as on July 01, 2017 are applicable for Post Graduate Admissions.
The aspirants of Madhya Pradesh will be given the first priority in the admission
The age limit for the physically challenged category is 35 years, whereas there is no age limit for the female aspirants.
There is a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying degree of the aspirants belonging to the SC/ST / Physically Challenged category of Madhya Pradesh only
Aspirant have to appear and qualify in the common entrance test organizeed by the university
The aspirant should be the citizen of India. However, some seats are reserved under NRI quota

The aspirants can apply for admissions to above postgraduate courses by filling and submitting the clear online application form along with the need amount of procedures fee and important documents on or before.Admission form can be filled via MP Online portal by following the following steps:

Aspirants are advised to check and ensure the eligibility criteria before applying for admission.
The aspirant must keep the Xerox copy of application form for future reference.
Attach the scanned photograph and signature along the with the application form
Submit the application form online
Pay the application fees of INR 1500/- + INR 50/- (Online Service Charge through available online modes.

The list of qualified aspirants will be declared on the MP Online portal
The aspirants appearing in the entrance test have to bring hall ticket and identity proof at the entrance examination centre
No documents are to be enclosed along with the online application form. The only photograph is to be attached along with the online form.

Aspirants are selected for above Post Graduate Programs on the basis of the merit of the qualifying exam as decided by the university authority on the basis of the entrance test namely CET-2018.
The entrance test shall be based on the syllabus of study in the earlier qualifying degree.
Counseling:
The aspirants who are selected for above Post Graduate courses on the basis of their merit in the CET need to appear in the counseling procedure. Resident Certificate - Original for verification + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested)
