Christ University situated in Bengaluru, is one of the leading private universities in India, featuring among top ten in survey organizeed by India Today group. The University provides postgraduate courses in multiple branches. At present, Christ University provides over 26 post-graduation courses apart from MBA.

The basic eligibility to apply for Post Graduate courses at Christ University is an undergraduate degree in a relevant branch. The admission criteria and selection procedure varies for the courses. The application procedure for Post Graduate courses begins in December and continues through April. The application procedure is organizeed both online and offline. The selection procedure is set by each of the departments separately. The selection procedure may involve Skill Assessment Test and Individual Interview.

The Post Graduate programs are also open to International aspirants.

Eligibility:

The aspirant must have an undergraduate degree in any branch with at least 50% marks from a recognised university.

Aspirants who are in the final year of their program can also apply. Such aspirants must have scored at least 50% marks in all semester or annual exams organizeed so far.

Master of Social Work (MSW) (Clinical and Community Exercise) , Master of Social Work (MSW) (Human Resource Development and Management) & Master of Science [M.Sc] (Development Studies)

The aspirant must have an undergraduate degree in any branch from a recognised university. Those in the final year of their undergraduate program can also apply subject to scoring 50% marks in all the semester or annual exams organizeed so far.

Master of Commerce [M.Com]

The aspirant must have finished B.Com/ BBM/ BBA with at least 50% marks from any recognised university in India. Participants in the final year/semester of the undergraduate program are also applicable to apply.

Master of Science [M.Sc] (Analytical Chemistry) & Master of Science [M.Sc] (Organic Chemistry)

The aspirant must have an undergraduate degree with an at least 50% marks aggregate and 50% marks in chemistry from any recognised University. Aspirants in the last year of the undergraduate program can also apply.

Master of Science [M.Sc] (Computer Science)

The aspirant must have finished B.Sc. degree in Computer Science or BCA degree with at least 50% marks aggregate and 50% marks in the cognate subject from a recognised university. Aspirants in their final semester/year can also apply.

Master of Science [M.Sc] (Computer Science & Applications)

The aspirant must have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Computer Applications with an at least 55% marks and an at least of 1-year work experience in any software industry/IT/ITES.

Or

The aspirant must have any degree in Science or Engineering with 55% marks from a recognised university with an at least of 3 years work experience in software industry/IT department.

MCA

The aspirant must have finished an undergraduate degree with an at least of 50% marks from any recognised university in India. Aspirants who have finished their Under Graduate degree in non-science subjects must have studied Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Business Mathematics/ Electronics at degree or pre-university level.

Master of Science [M.Sc] (Food Procedures Technology)

Aspirants with B.Sc. or B.Tech. in Food Technology/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Industrial Microbiology with at least 50% marks from a recognised university. Aspirants awaiting result are also applicable to apply.

Master of Science [M.Sc] (Mathematics)

The aspirant must have an undergraduate degree with an at least 50% marks aggregate and 50% marks in Mathematics from any recognised University. Aspirants in the last year of the undergraduate program can also apply.

Master of Science [M.Sc] (Physics)

The aspirant must have an undergraduate degree with an at least 50% marks aggregate and 50% marks in Physics from any recognised University. Aspirants in the last year of the undergraduate program can also apply.

Master of Science [M.Sc] (Actuarial Science)

The aspirant should have B.Sc. in Mathematics/ Statistics or BA in Economics or B.com. Aspirants in final year or semester of the program can also apply.

The aspirant must have an undergraduate degree with an at least 50% marks aggregate and 50% marks in Zoology/ Animal Science/ Life Science from any recognised University. Aspirants in the last year of the undergraduate program can also apply.

Master of Science [M.Sc] (Biotechnology)

Aspirants with B.Sc. in Botany/ Zoology/ Biotechnology/ Food Science/ Nutrition/ Agricultural Science or MBBS/B.Pharm. in Biotechnology or Biomedical Engineering or BAMS from a recognised university in India are applicable to apply. or B.V.Sc.

How to Apply for Christ University PG Admission 2018

Christ University organizes the application procedure in a four-month-long window. The application fee for online application can be paid through Credit card/ Debit card/ Netbanking. The application procedure for all Post Graduate courses is organizeed both online and offline.

Offline Application Procedure

In order to apply to the course via direct mode, the participant can obtain the application form at the following address:

After remitting the application fee, aspirants can then submit the application form online via the following link: http://offlineapp.christuniversity.in/

The application form will not be considered valid if not filled and submitted online.

Online Application Procedure

The online application form can be filled on the official website. Aspirants in the NRI/ OCI/ PIO/ Foreign Nationals category can pay the application fee via demand draft drawn in favour of Christ University, payable at Bangalore. Aspirants must send a duly signed printout of the online application form to the University.

Both online and offline participants must send filled in application forms to the University with necessary documents. Please note, that the need supporting documents should be sent in an A4 size Envelope only. The aspirant must not forget to mention the name of the program they have applied for and their contact number on the envelope.

Selection Procedure for Christ University Bangalore PG Admission 2018

Master of Arts [MA] (Clinical Psychology)

The selection procedure involves an entrance test, followed by Skill Assessment Test and Individual Interview. Skill Assessment Test will have questions to test an aspirant’s written and communication skills as well as their reasoning ability.

The entrance test will be of two hours period and will have 120 questions carrying 1 marks each. For every accurate response the aspirant will get 1 marks and for every wrong response, 0.25 marks will be deducted. The syllabus for entrance test is given below:

The selection procedure for this course involves a Group Discussion, Skill Assessment Test and Individual Interview. The Group Discussion will involve topics concerned with topics of present affairs and social importance. The Skill Assessment Test is designed to evaluate an aspirant’s communication ability and logical reasoning ability.

Master of Science [M.Sc] (Mathematics)

The admission to M.Sc. Mathematics course is on the basis of an aspirant’s performance in Christ University Entrance Test. The entrance test is followed by a Skill Assessment Test and Individual Interview. The entrance test will have topics from Mathematics at degree level.

Master of Science [M.Sc] (Computer Science & Applications) , Master of Science [M.Sc] (Computer Science) & Master of Commerce [M.Com]

The selection procedure consists of a Skill Assessment Test followed by an Individual Interview. The Skill Assessment Test will evaluate an aspirant’s written skills, communication skills, and logical reasoning.
