Christ University is a UGC recognized deemed Private university in Bangalore. With over 16,000 students and more than 1000 faculty members, it is one of the top-ranked university in the country. In 2014 India Today-Nielsen survey, Christ University was ranked in the top 10 in Science, Arts, Commerce and Law. The university provides nationally and internationally recognized undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes in academic branches including Law, Business Administration, Commerce, Management, Humanities, Sciences, and Social Science

The BA LLB (Bachelor of Law) and BBA LLB (Bachelor of Law) Programmes are 5-year integrated law programmes. The course is oriented towards the industry and is aided by an advisory board which includes of some of the leading lights in the legal fraternity. The LLM (Master of Law) programme is provideed in 3 fields which is a one year course.

School of Law, Christ University invites applications for admission to the BA LLB, BBA LLB and LLM courses for the academic year 2018-19. The admission to the programmes takes places via various Entrance Tests followed by further tests and interview as per the programme. The application must be sent before the last date of submission.

Eligibility Criteria for Christ University Bangalore Law Admissions 2018

The following section contains information regarding eligibility criteria for various courses provideed by Christ University.

Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA] + Bachelor of Laws [L.L.B.] {Hons.}

  • Aspirant should have passed the 10+2 level examination with an at least of 45% marks in any stream (Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce, Science and Management) from any recognized Board in India (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / IGCSE / IB)
  • The aspirant should be below the age of 20 years as on July 1, 2017.

Note: If the aspirant is writing the 10+2 examination in March-May 2017, he/she is also applicable to apply with your Class 10 and Class 11 mark sheet.

LLM

Christ University provides the LLM Programme in the following branches:

  • LL.M Intellectual Property and Trade Law
  • LL.M Constitutional and Administrative Law
  • LL.M Corporate and Commercial Law

Eligibility

For Indian aspirants:

  • You should have passed LLB (3 or 5-year course) with an at least of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised university.
  • If you are in final year, then also you can apply on provisional basis.

For International aspirants: Either of the following,

  • You must produce evidence of passing the qualifying examination in English medium; or   
  • You must have IELTS 6.0 with no sub-score below 5.5 or TOEFL (paper) 550


How to Apply for Christ University Bangalore Law Admissions 2018

LLB & LLM

There are two ways to apply: Online Method or Offline Mode.

Offline Mode:

You can obtain the Application Form after remitting the prescribed fee at Counter No. 7, Office of Admissions, Ground Floor, Central Block, Christ University Main Campus, Bengaluru.

Online Mode:

You can download the Application Form from the University website. You can then fill in and submit the Application online.

You required registering via the official link of Christ University BA BBA LLB 2018 Application by entering your E-Mail id, Mobile Number and Date of Birth.

Once the registration has been done, you required remitting an application fee of Rs. 1000 as SBI Application Procedures Fee Challan from any Core Banking Discipline of State Bank of India/ a valid Credit Card/ Debit Card or Net Banking facility, and then fill in the applications in online mode.

Enclosures:

  • Two recent passport size photographs (35mm x 45mm) and 2 stamp size photographs wearing formal dress with white background
  • The filled-in printed Application form duly signed by you and your parent/guardian.
  • Transfer Certificate from last qualified institution
  • Migration certificate if you are from outside Karnataka
  • Copy of passport and visa page (if eligible)
  • Copy of mark sheets of Class 10th, Class 11th or Class 12th (whichever is available)
  • SBI Application Procedures Fee Challan for Rs. 1000 from any Core Banking Discipline of State Bank of India/ a valid Credit Card/ Debit Card or Net Banking facility.
  • Provisional Degree Certificate or Degree Certificate in case of LLM Admission

After filling in the applications and signing at the need place, you need to send it to the below-mentioned address in an A4 size envelope along with the other necessary documents.

Admission Procedure

The following section contains information regarding selection procedure for various courses provideed by Christ University.

Bachelor of Arts + Bachelor of Laws [B.A.L.L.B.] {Hons} & Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA] + Bachelor of Laws [L.L.B.] {Hons.}

For both BA LLB Programme and BBA LLB Programme: You will be selected on the basis of Christ University Law Entrance Exam (CULEE) followed by Skill Assessment Test (SA), Micro Presentation(MP) and Individual Interview (PI).

The CULEE 2018 will be held in an offline method for a period of2 hours. It will be held in three cities of India – Bengaluru, Kolkata and Delhi. The 120 questions of objective nature (MCQs) will be distributed in five sections – English Language, General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and Data Analysis. The Exam shall include a total of 120 questions carrying maximum marks of 120. Each accurate response shall be honoured one mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted from the total scored marks for every wrong response.

Christ University declared the list of shortlisted aspirants based on the Christ University Law Entrance Exam 2017 who further appear for SA, MP and PI tests before the declaration of final merit list.

LLM

You will be selected on the basis of the Christ University Entrance Test (ET) followed by a Skill Assessment (SA) test and Individual Interview (PI).

The period of the Entrance Test will be 30 minutes. Each accurate response carries one mark and each wrong one deducts 0.25 marks.


Reservation Criteria of Christ University Bangalore Law Admissions 2018

The reservation policy is as per the norms prescribed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
