Choudhary Charan Singh University which was once known as Meerut University was founded in the year 1965. It provides 22 UGC sponsored courses and 35 self-financed/job oriented courses at Meerut campus.

CCS University is recognized by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), UGC (University Grant Commission), NCTE (National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) and NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council).

CCS University provides a variety of specializations, so students can elect their subjects according to their interest and the eligibility mandate they meet:

How to Fill CCS University M.Phil Application Form:

  • Visit official website that is ccsuniversity.ac.in.
  • Hit on “apply online” button on the homepage.
  • Fill the application form with all required details.
  • After that, hit on an appropriate link for submitting the application fee.
  • Then attach all important documents with it and finally hit on “submit” button.
  • Students are advised to recheck the complete application form once.
  • At last, you can take print out of application form for future use.

CCS University M.Phil Admission 2018 Selection Procedure

  • Students are offered admission to various courses based on their merit score in the qualifying exam. And also after cumulating the eligibility criteria and reservation if it is applicable.
  • The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured in the entrance test and weights (details mentioned below).
  • The result of entrance test will be uploaded on the university website www.ccsuniversity.ac.in.

Extra Weightage is given to following categories:

I. 4 %: Student having participation certificate at National/ State/ Inter University level in a team/ Individual event. Recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or the Indian Olympic Association (IOA)

II. 4 %: CCS University graduates, in case of admission to PG program.

III. 2%: Students having Honours Degree in the subject in which the admission is being sought at PG level.

IV. 4%: To the son(s)/daughter(s)/spouse of the employee of Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut and its affiliated colleges.

V. 3%: Students who have secured C/G–II certificate of N.C.C., while pursuing the qualifying degree/class.

VI. 2%: Students, who have secured B/G–I certificate of N.C.C., while pursuing the qualifying degree/class.

VII. 3%: Students who have served for 240 hours under N.S.S. and participated in two camps of seven and ten days

Note: To claim weightage Student must enclose relevant documents to support his/her claim. These have to be uploaded at the time of filling or submitting the application form. No one is entitled to receive more than eight marks (percent) as a weightage.

CCS University M.Phil Admission 2018 Reservation Criteria

  • The seats reservations for SC/ST/OBC aspirants are 21%, 2% & 27% simultaneously
  • Physically handicapped Students avail 3% reservation. But, 2% seats are reserved for Dependents of Freedom Fighters. Dependent of Ex-servicemen aspirants gets 1% reservation of seats.
  • The reservation of seats is being available as per Govt. rules & regulations and there may be some modifications made according to the situations
  • Enclose supporting certificates in specified Performa along with the form to claim reservation. Students must self-attest them before submission.
