Centurion University of Technology and Management, founded in 2010, is a multi-sector, private state university from Odisha. It has around 10,000 students. It was The University has been accredited by NAAC with 'A' Grade and it provides under-graduate, post-graduate and doctoral courses in the fields of engineering & technology, management, and applied sciences. The university actively works in the field of sustainable community development via its different social responsibility initiatives.

It was given the Best Private UniversityAward by ETV News EDUQUEST 2015. It has also been honored the “Best Project in Rural Communities” at UK-India Skills Forum Awards 2010 convened by FICCI & UK-India Business Council.

The University invites applications for admission to the B.Tech. Programme, B.Tech. (Lateral Entry) and M.Tech.  Programme for the academic year 2016-17. The Applications for admission should be submitted by March 31st either online or by post. The admission to the programmes will begin in the 1st week of December, and for B.Tech, will be based on the Centurion University Entrance Exam (CUEE) 2016 and for M.Tech, based on GATE.

Centurion University M.Tech. & B.Tech. Admissions 2018 Eligibility Criteria

BE/B.Tech

The University provides B.Tech. Programme in the following branches:-

  • Data Science
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Automotive Engineering
  • Internet Security
  • Electronics and Communication Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical and Electronics Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Computer Science and Engineering

Eligibility Criteria:

You should have passed 10+2 examination or appearing 10+2 examination in 2018. You should have studied in regular full-time formal education and fulfill any of the following criteria:

  1. You should have secured an at least average of 45% marks in case of general category and 40% marks in case of reserved category, in Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry or (any other subject from the list specified by AICTE) taken together in the qualifying examination.
  2. You should have secured an at least of 45% marks in case of general category and 40% marks in case of reserved category, with the following subjects: Language, Physics, Mathematics, Any one of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject), any other subject taken together in the qualifying examination.

B.Tech. (Lateral Entry)

Eligibility Criteria:-

You should fulfill any of the following eligibility criteria:

  • You should have passed or should be appearing in three years full-time diploma course in Engineering with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from State Council of Technical Education & Training of any state/Universities having AICTE approval.
  • You should have passed in three years period Bachelor's Degree in Science examination from any University of India or equivalent recognised by UGC with an at least of 50% marks in aggregate with Mathematics at +3 levels.

ME/M.Tech

The University provides the following specializations under the M.Tech. Programme:

Eligibility Criteria:-

You should fulfill any of the following criteria for eligibility:

  • You should have passed B.E. / B. Tech. or equivalent in relevant branch with 60% marks in aggregate, or 6.5 CGPA out of a 10 point scale.
  • You should have passed the AMIE/IETE/IMECH and other recognised Membership Examinations (approved by Government of India).

Note: There is no relaxation in the academic requirement for SC/ST/OBC/PH category because the at least academic requirements have been set for all to meet the basic challenges of the academic programme.

Centurion University M.Tech. & B.Tech. Admissions 2018 How To Apply

BE/B.Tech & ME/M.Tech

You can fill the Application Form in the following three modes:

  1. Online via the CUEE website
  2. Downloading from the CUEE website
  3. In Person from the CUTM Campus

Online Mode:-

You should visit the University website and follow the instructions giving there to fill up the online application form.

Step 1: You should fill up the application form with the need individual and educational details, and proceed to payment. If you select online payment, it will redirect to the Trader gateway. You should also upload a recent color photograph.

Step 2: You should select the payment method from either Demand Draft or Online payment (Debit/Credit Card of any bank is accepted).

Step 3: If you select the Demand Draft payment method, your application procedure will be finished. You required to fill up your card information and pay for the same and ensure the amount displayed is Rs. 250/-. The payment gateway will authorize and capture the payment and redirect to the University website for confirmation of the Application procedure is clear.

Step 4: You should then download your Application Copy and take the print out of the application form.

In case of online payment, your Application procedure is now complete.

In case you are paying by Demand Draft, it should be in favor of CSREM Trust payable at Bhubaneswar.

In case of other two modes as well, you must then submit the hard copy of your Application along with the Demand Draft and the need enclosures at the address given below.

Centurion University M.Tech. & B.Tech. Admissions 2018 Admission Procedure

BE/B.Tech

For B.Tech. Programme:- (Lateral Entry):-

You must have appeared any nationalised entrance tests: CUEE/JEEMAIN/EAMCET/WBJEE/Other equivalent Entrance Test.

The questions will be based on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, with each subject having 60 questions. The medium of the Exam will be English.

For B.Tech.

You must have appeared in any of the following Entrance Tests CUEE /JEEMAIN /EAMCET / WBJEE / Other equivalent Entrance Test.

Centurion University Entrance Examination (CUEE) 2018:

The exam will be for a period of 3 hours. Each accurate response will carry one mark. The exam will be organized in online mode. It will contain 180 objective type of questions.

ME/M.Tech

You will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the GATE Entrance Examination of the years 2016 or 2017.

Centurion University M.Tech. & B.Tech. Admissions 2018 Reservation Criteria

  • 25 seats shall be reserved for the wards of the Indian Navy personnel
  • 50% Reservation of seats for JEEMAIN/EAMCET and other state test rank holders
  • 50% of seats shall be filled via Centurion University Entrance Exam (CUEE)
  • All statutory reservation of seats for SC/ST and other categories will be as per the eligibility rules.
  • Reservation of seats for FN/PIO/Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries as per the AICTE norms.
  • 25 seats shall be reserved for the wards of the CRPF personnel
