Bharati Vidyapeeth University (BVPU) is a deemed to be university located primarily in Pune with campuses also in New Delhi, Navi Mumbai, Sangli, Kolhapur, Solapur and Karad. Today Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University has 32 constituent units and is one of India's largest multi-disciplinary multi-campus universities.

The University is a member of Association of Indian Universities and the Association of Commonwealth Universities. It is really credible for this nascent University to have received ‘A’ Grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Hence the degrees given in these colleges of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University are recognised in India and abroad. Some of the constituent units of the University have also been accredited with ‘A’ Grade by the National Board of Accreditation.

The University invites applications for admission to the Post-Graduate programmes for the academic year 2016-17. The programmes provideed are under faculties ranging from Faculty of Arts, Commerce and Science, Faculty of Law, and Faculty of Pharmaceutical. The applications can be downloaded from the website and thereafter submitted to the University in person or by post. The admission to different constituent and affiliated colleges, for most of these programmes, is via a Common Entrance Test organizeed by the University specific to the course applied for.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • For Biochemistry, Anatomy, Microbiology, Anatomy, Physiology and Pharmacology: You must have passed MBBS examination from any Medical College recognized by Medical Council of India. (Fisheries Science), B.Arch., B.A. Geography, B.E. in Mechanical, Civil, IT, Computer, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunications, Environment with minimum 50% marks for general category and 45% marks in case of SC/ST category.
F. Sc. You should also possess a permanent registration with any State Medical Council in India or Medical Council of India
  • For Environment Science and Technology: You should have passed Bachelor’s examination from any recognized University or its equivalent examination with any of the following subjects - Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Geology, Geography, Life Sciences, Fisheries Science, B.E.(Civil Engineering), Environmental Engineering, Agriculture, Physics, Biotechnology, with a at least 50% marks for general category and 45% marks in case of SC/ST category.

    For Nursing:

    • You should have 1-year experience of in the clinical area and the aspirant must be an Indian national.
    • You should have registered with state nursing council as Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife
    • You should have passed B.Sc. (Nursing) degree from any recognized university or post certificate B.Sc. Nursing exam of recognized University

    Nationality: You should be an Indian national.

    M. Optometry Programme

    Eligibility Criteria:

    Age: You should have finished 21 years of age as on December 31st, 2017. You should have finished Bachelor’s in Optometry or equivalent from any Indian university which is recognised by this University and Indian optometric association or UGC recognised universities except Open University.

    If you belong to foreign student category, you should have finished Bachelor in Optometry B.

    Master in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology [MASLP]

    MASLP (Master of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology) Programme

    Eligibility Criteria:

    You should have finished BASLP/ B. Sc. (Sp & Hg)/ B.Sc. (HLS) degree or equivalent (including internship) from any RCI recognised centre with an aggregate of 50% marks in all three years. You should also have an internship completion certificate from any RCI recognised centre.

    Master of Business Administration [MBA]

    You should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from any branch who has passed with at least 50% marks in aggregate for general category and 45% marks in case of SC/ST aspirants) from a recognised university.

    If you are in your final year degree (Bachelors or Masters), then also you are applicable to apply subject to the submission of necessary certificates.

    The aspirant should be an Indian National.

    Eligibility Criteria:

    You should have passed the Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with at least of 60% marks from a recognised institution. If you have qualified GPAT, you are also applicable for admission.
     

    Master of Social Work [MSW]

    You should have a Bachelor’s degree in any branch from a recognized University with an at least of 45 % marks for general category and 40% marks for SC/ST category.

    Master of Physical Education [M.P.Ed]

    You should have passed B.Ed. Physical Education Examination of a recognized by the statutory university.

    LLM

    You should have passed the LLB three year / five years degree course from any Indian/ Foreign University recognized by UGC with minimum 50% or equivalent marks for general category and 45% marks for reserved category

    Master of Arts [MA] (English)

    You should have a bachelor’s degree obtained via the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification with an at least aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India. A Relaxation of 5% aggregate is there for SC/ST aspirants.

    Master of Commerce [M.Com]

    You should have passed B.Com. Degree from any recognized university.

    Master of Hospital Administration [MHA]

    You should have passed Bachelor’s degree in science, Masters / Bachelors in any health care field or Diploma in Health / Hospital Management.

    Application Process

    You can obtain the Application Form online from the University website and the prospectus from any of the University campuses in person for Rs. 200 or get it through the post for Rs. 400.

    You must fill the form with the need individual and educational details.

    Admission Procedure of BVP (Bharati Vidyapeeth) Pune Post Graduate Admission 2018

    M.Sc

    You will be selected on the basis of Entrance Exam organizeed by the University. There shall be no negative marking for an inaccurate response. 

    It will consist of 100 questions based on the respective Bachelor’s degree Course syllabus. It will be for a period of 2 and a half hours.

    Master of Science [M.Sc] (Biotechnology)

    You will be selected on the basis of BVU – MBT Entrance Test 2016. The test will consist of one paper with 100 objective type questions. There is no negative marking in the evaluation of this exam.

    The exam will be of one and a half hour duration.

    Master of Science [M.Sc] (Nursing)

    You will be selected on the basis of a Common Entrance Test 2017 organizeed by the University. Each accurate response will be honoured one mark with no negative marking for an inaccurate response.

    There will be 100 questions in the test based on the B.Sc. Nursing syllabus.

    Master of Optometry (Optometric Technology / Optometric)

    You will be selected on the basis of M-EYECET 2017 Entrance Exam. There shall be no negative marking for an inaccurate response.  It will consist of 100 questions based on the B. It will be for a period of 2 and a half hours.

    Master in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology [MASLP]

    You will be selected on the basis of the Common Entrance Test 2017 organizeed by the University.

    Master of Business Administration [MBA]

    You will be selected on the basis of the B-MAT Entrance Exam 2017 organizeed by the University. It will consist of a written test, a Group Discussion and an Individual Interview.

    The written test will be organizeed for a period of two and a half hours. It is of 200 marks with 200 multiple choice type questions of one mark each with four alternatives. There shall be no negative marking. The Performance in Group Discussion will involve 30 marks and the Performance at Interview will carry 20 marks i.e., total 50 marks.

    The breakdown of the questions is as follows:

    • Logical and Abstract Reasoning (50 questions/marks)
    • Management Skill (20 questions/marks)
    • Quantitative Aptitude (20 questions/marks)
    • Computer Awareness (20 questions/marks)
    • Mathematics at Xth level (30 questions/marks)
    • Present Affairs (20 questions/marks)
    • Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (40 questions/marks)

    The Written Test will be followed by a Group Discussion and Interview Test.

    M.Pharm

    You will be selected on the basis of PHARMPost Graduate Entrance Exam 2017. The exam is organizeed as an objective model test. Syllabus for the exam is based on the topics covered under Bachelor of Pharmacy.

    There is no negative marking for the test. There will be 200 questions for the test which must be finished in the time duration of 3 hours.

    Master of Social Work [MSW]

    Your selection will be based on Bharati Vidyapeeth University Common Entrance Test (CET) 2017 followed by Group Discussion (GD) and Individual Interview (PI) organizeed by the university.

    Master of Physical Education [M.P.Ed]

    You will be selected on merit.

    LLM

    You will be selected on the basis of the LawEntrance Test 2017 organizeed by the University followed by a Group Discussion.

    The Entrance Test will be of 140 marks having 140 objective type questions. There will be one mark honoured for every accurate response and no negative marking for an inaccurate response. You should be able to secure an at least of 50% of the total marks.

    You must also focus on areas such as Constitutional Law of India, Jurisprudence, Law of Contracts, Law of Torts, Criminal Law, etc. In addition, you should keep yourself updated with present affairs. 

    The Group Discussion round will carry 60 marks. There is no fixed syllabus but you must prepare the LLB course.

    The total marks for the entire Entrance Procedure shall be 200 marks.

    Master of Arts [MA] (English)

    You will be selected on the basis of merit if you had English as a special subject at the graduation level.

    If you did not have English as a special subject at the graduation level, you will be selected on the basis of an Entrance Exam organizeed by the University.

    M.Com

    You will be selected on merit.

    MHA

    You will be selected on the basis of fulfilment of eligibility criteria.


    Reservation of BVP (Bharati Vidyapeeth) Pune Post Graduate Admission 2018

    15% of the seats in every course shall be reserved for Foreign / NRI / PIO / OCI / Management Merit category.
