Bharati Vidyapeeth University (BVDU) is a deemed to be university located primarily in Pune with campuses also in New Delhi, Navi Mumbai, Sangli, Kolhapur, Solapur, and Karad. Today Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University has 32 constituent units and is one of India's largest multi-disciplinary multi-campus universities.

The University is a member of Association of Indian Universities and the Association of Commonwealth Universities. It is really credible for this nascent University to have received ‘A’ Grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Hence the degrees given in these colleges of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University are recognized in India and abroad. Some of the constituent units of the University have also been accredited with ‘A’ Grade by the National Board of Accreditation.

College of Engineering, Pune, BVDU provides Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) programme in different specializations. All students and staff have the reach of this facility at the computer center. Via this facility, they have reached to more than 900 Libraries network in India and 6 other countries. The Institute is a member of DELNET Library Network.

The University invites applications to the four-year undergraduate B.Tech. The applications for admission should be sent by May 23rd, 2018. The admission to the programme will be via an All India Common Entrance Test (CET) 2018 organized by the University organized across 8 centers on May 29th, 2018. The University provides the following B.Tech. You should also have obtained 50% marks in Physics, Maths and anyone optional subject has taken together.

Eligibility Criteria:

For all courses: You should have passed in qualifying examination i.e. H.S.C./10+2 or ICSC or equivalent with Maths and Physics as mandatory subjects along with any one of following subjects – Chemistry, Computer Science, Biotechnology, and Biology.

BVP Pune B.Tech Admissions 2018 How To Apply


You can obtain the Application Form either from any of the University campuses in person or download it from the University website under the “Online CET Registration” tab.

If you have downloaded it from the website, you should take a printout of the form. You must fill the form with the need individual and educational details.

You should also select your choice of the centre of examination.

You should be careful to avoid overwriting, cutting, erasing on the form. Any discrepancies in the statements and/or submission of incomplete form will lead to its rejection/cancellation of admission.

Application Fee: You should pay Rs. 1500 as Application fee either in the form of cash or by a Demand Draft has drawn on any nationalized bank or Bharati Sahakari Bank Ltd. In favor of “The Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune” and payable at Pune.

You should then send the duly filled form along with the essential documents including the cash payment (if submitting in person) or the Demand Draft (if sending by post) to the following address:

BVP Pune B.Tech Admissions 2018 Admission Procedure


You will be selected on merit on the basis of the marks obtained by you in the All India Common Entrance Test CET (Engineering) - 2018 organized by the Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University.

The examination consists of one question paper. It will consist 100 questions on Mathematics and 100 questions on Physics. It will be set in English medium and will contain 200 multiple-choice objective type questions with four options A, B, C, & D with only one accurate choice. There shall be no negative marking for an inaccurate response.

BVP Pune B.Tech Admissions 2018 Reservation

The reservation policy will be as per the norms prescribed by the Government of India. In addition, 15% seats will be reserved for Foreign/ NRI/ PIO/ OCI and Management category.
