Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh is a public University founded in 1975, by Government of India. It is recognised by UGC, AICTE, AIU, NAAC, IAU, ACU, BCI and MCI. The university has an enormous campus flourishing over about 186 acres of land with 303 affiliated colleges.
The University provides Post Graduate courses in multiple branches such as Pharmacy, Science, Commerce, Arts, and Humanities. There are two modes of admission at Bundelkhand University – via Entrance test and direct admission. The University begins the admission procedure for Post Graduate courses in June every year.
The application for both entrance based courses and direct admission courses can be filled online on the university’s official website. The at least eligibility requirement for admission to Post Graduate courses at Bundelkhand University is an undergraduate degree in a relevant branch.

The aspirant must have a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts (BFA) with 45% marks.
Master of Finance and Control [MFC], Master of Arts [MA] (Mathematics) & Master of Arts [MA] (Home Science)
The aspirant should have a graduation degree in any stream with at least 45% marks in the qualifying examination from a recognised University. However, aspirants belonging to the reserve category aspirants i.e. SC/ ST/ PH are offered with the relaxation of 5% of marks (i.e. they should have obtained at least 40% marks)
MA
The aspirant should have a graduation degree with Hindi as a subject in a final year.
Master of Hotel Management [MHM]
The aspirant should have a Bachelor degree in HM or a 3 years diploma in HM with a Bachelor’s degree in any stream with at least 50% marks.
Master of Arts [MA] (Education)
The aspirant should have passed graduation degree with Education as one of the subjects or should have a B.Ed. degree with at least 45% marks in theory papers.
M.Com
The aspirant must have a B.Com. degree with 45% marks from a recognised university.
Master of Library and Information Science [M.Lib.I.Sc]
Aspirants should have B.Lib.I.Sc. degree with II division.
M.Sc
The aspirant should have passed graduation in the relevant /related subject with at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST aspirants).
Master of Science [M.Sc] (Statistics)
The aspirant must have a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics/ Computer Science/ IT or a BCA degree with 45% marks in aggregate.
Master of Science [M.Sc] (Agricultural Economics)
An aspirant with a B.Sc. in Agriculture/ Dairy Science/ Veterinary Science/ Animal Science/ Fisheries with 45% marks in aggregate is applicable to apply.
Master of Science [M.Sc] (Animal Husbandry and Drying)
The aspirant should have a B.Sc. degree in Agriculture/ Dairying/ Dairy Technology/ Veterinary Science and Animal husbandry with 45% marks.
Master of Science [M.Sc] (Environmental Science)
Aspirant with a B.Sc. degree in Environmental Science/ Biology/ Geology/ Agriculture/ Chemical Forestry.
Master of Science [M.Sc] (Biochemistry)
The aspirant should have a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry or Life Science or any other relevant subject with 45% marks in aggregate.
Master of Science [M.Sc] (Biomedical Science)
The aspirant should have a B.Sc. degree in Bio Medical Science/ Bio Chemistry/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Life Science or any other relevant subject with 45% marks.
Master of Science [M.Sc] (Forensic Sciences)
The aspirant must have a B.Sc. degree in Biology, Mathematics or any equivalent subject with 50% marks.
Master of Science [M.Sc] (Food Technology)
The aspirant should have finished graduation in Food Tech./ Dairy Tech./ Home Science/ Agriculture/ Biology or any other relevant subject with 50% marks.
M.Pharm
The aspirant should have passed B.Pharm. degree with at least 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST) from a recognised University.
Master of Education [M.Ed]
The aspirant should have passed B.Ed. /LT/B.El.Ed. with at least 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST) in the qualifying examination from a recognised University.
Master of Laws [L.L.M.]
Aspirant should have passed LLB with at least 50% marks (55% in case of SC/ST) in the qualifying examination from a recognised University
Note: The aspirants appearing in the qualifying examination / awaiting result may also apply for admission. This condition is not eligible for M.Ed. However, they will be considered for provisional admission only.
The aspirants can apply for admissions by filling and submitting the clear online application form along with the need amount of procedure fee and important documents before the last date. An aspirant must log in to the official website and follow the steps given below:
Note: aspirant is requested to use a4 size envelope for sending the print out of admission form. / Transaction ID and Application ID for any future correspondence with the University.
The aspirant can download their Hall Ticket for the entrance test from the University website i.e. (bujhansi.org). Admit card will also be sent to the aspirants by post one week before the entrance test.

Application fee for SC/ST aspirants: Rs 300.00 (Rs. Three hundred only)
The entrance test for the majority of M.Sc. courses will include of questions from the Under Graduate syllabus of relevant branch/subject. The entrance test for M. M.Ed. entrance test paper will have questions from the Under Graduate syllabus of education course. Pharma.
The entrance exam for MSW and MFC will have questions pertaining to General Awareness and Present Affairs.
The admissions to the rest of the Post Graduate courses will be provided on the basis of marks scored in qualifying degree. will have questions from the syllabus of B.Pharma. LLM entrance test will have questions from LLB syllabus.
In case of entrance exam for M.Sc. Agriculture Science, the questions will be from Under Graduate level syllabus of Agriculture Science and/or Botany. The list of qualified aspirants will be declared on the website.
Counseling Procedure
