Banaras Hindu University (BHU), formerly known as the Central Hindu College, is a Central University situated in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The University was founded sometime in 1916.
Since its inception, the University is known for providing students with different courses at Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. The students required to apply online in order to take admission in the University.
The students further required to appear in BHU's Entrance Test (UET for Undergraduate, PET for Postgraduate, and SCS for Special courses of study).
The application for PET/SCS generally opens in January, closes in February followed by the exam in April. The University also invites NRI students to apply for admission.
The selection for admission is based on the student's performance in the Entrance exam and student's choices/ preferences. Up-gradation is possible while the counselling process is in improvements. Any such information is relayed to students at the same time and all the necessary changes are made accordingly.

Eligibility Criteria:
For MBA in Foreign Trade/ Risk and Insurance/ or Financial Management, the students required to have finished their Graduation/ Bachelor's Degree in any branch (under minimum 10+2+3 format) securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
For MBA in Agribusiness, the students must have passed B.Sc. (Ag) or the students must have passed B.Sc. Home Science or B.Sc. with Botany, Biochemistry, Zoology, or Biotechnology as one of the subjects (under minimum 10+2+3 format) or must have a postgraduate degree in any of these branches.
Also, the students must have secured 50% marks in aggregate or an OGPA of 2.5 out of 4.0 on a four-point scale.

Students want admission in any of the MBA courses provided by the University required to appear in the BHU's Entrance Examination (PET/ SCS). The application form for the same can be established on the BHU's Entrance Test Portal.
Students simply required to follow three steps in order to clear the Application process successfully.
Step 1 - Fill in the Application Form.
It is very important to fill the application form with accurate information and valid contact details. The Application fee is as follows.
After completing all the three steps, the Application process is finished and the students are expected to download their hall ticket and appear in the exam as per the schedule.
In case, any information is establish misleading, the University can reject the student's application then and there only.
Step 2 - Upload Images.
Further, after filling the whole form cautiously, the students required to upload images of their signature and photograph.
Step 3 - Pay the Application fee.
After the form is filled and images are uploaded, the students finally required to pay the Application fee so as to submit the application form successfully.
The students, who have applied for MBA courses that are provided by the University, are selected on the basis of merit. For, they are taken into account while allotting a seat to a student. After reporting, the students are given a chance to communicate with the teachers current at the time of counselling.
After filling in the Form, the students required to report for the Counselling. The merit lists are prepared on the basis of the Entrance Exam (PET/ SCS). The choices are to be made very cautiously.
Once the merit lists are out, selected students are offered with Call Letters. The details of which are mentioned in the Call Letter. If the fee is paid in offline mode, the students required to submit a proof of the same.
The students are expected to download these Call Letters from the Entrance Test Portal.
Once Call Letter is downloaded, the students required to fill in a Preference Entry Form. After talking to them, if a student feels the required to make changes in her/his Entry Form, s(he) can do so.
Once modified, the printout of the same is taken and signed by the student. After the allocation, students are expected to collect their Provisional Admission Letter (given out generally a day after).
Finally, the students required to pay the need Admission Fee in order to confirm their admissions. The signed copy along with the following documents are submitted for Documents verification.
After verification is finished, students are allotted a seat via a computer. The information about the same is relayed via an e-mail.
