Eligibility Criteria for Bharath University Chennai B.Tech and B.Arch Admission 2018


Nationality: The participant should be a resident Indian national and

(i) Must have studied in schools situated in India in the preceding two years for admission to Undergraduate program

(ii) should have studied in educational institutions in India and finished their qualifying examination.

Educational qualification

Aspirants should have completed class 10+2 or its equivalent with at least 50 % aggregate as Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech (lateral entry): Aspirants must have a diploma in a relevant field with 50% marks recognised by Central or State Government or must have a Bachelor's of Science degree with Mathematics as the main subject.


  • A pass in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) organizeed by the Council of Architecture. No separate entrance examination will be organizeed by Bharath University. However, the aspirants have to apply in the prescribed application form for admission to B.Arch program.
  • A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent having an at least total aggregate of 50% with English and Mathematics as subjects of study or 10+3 Diploma (Any Stream) recognised by Central/State Government with 50% aggregate marks.

  • Online with Demand Draft: Application to be filled online by visiting, and the same can be downloaded and sent to us with the demand draft for Rs.900/- drawn in favour of Bharath University, payable at Chennai. The aspirants must pay the application fee by demand draft drawn in favour of "Bharath University" payable at Chennai.

    Your application will be procedures only upon receipt of the demand draft.
  • Direct: Aspirants can obtain the application form from any of the following sources upon payment of INR 900/-.
  • Online with e-payment use the URL, register and pay online

Application fee

An application fee of Rs 900 is to be paid by aspirants for the registration procedure. Aspirants should write their name and address on the reverse of Demand draft.

Admission Procedure for Bharath University Chennai B.Tech and B.Arch Admission 2018


  • The admission will be purely on the basis of the performance in the Bharath Engineering Entrance Examination (BEEE) organizeed by Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER).
  • The aspirants short-listed based on their performance in the entrance examination will be called for the counselling to be held at the BIHER.


  • Admission to B.Arch. the program will be based on the aggregate of marks secured in the qualifying examination & NATA score.
  • Based on the ranking, admissions will be provideed to the aspirant.
  • The meritorious aspirant list will be drawn giving 50% weightage to an aggregate of total marks secured in qualifying examination & 50% weightage to NATA score.
