BIHER B.Arch & B.Tech Admission 2018 Eligibility Criteria


Nationality: The participant should be a resident Indian national and

(i) Must have studied in schools situated in India in the preceding two years for admission to Undergraduate program

(ii) should have studied in educational institutions in India and finished their qualifying examination.

Educational qualification

Aspirants should have completed class 10+2 or its equivalent with at least 50 % aggregate as Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as main subjects.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech (lateral entry): Aspirants must have a diploma in a relevant field with 50% marks recognised by Central or State Government or must have a Bachelor's of Science degree with Mathematics as the main subject.

  • Online with Demand Draft: Application to be filled online by visiting, and the same can be downloaded and sent to us with the demand draft for Rs.900/- drawn in favor of Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research, payable at Chennai. Aspirants should write their name and address on the reverse of Demand draft. Your application will be procedure only upon receipt of the demand draft.
  • Online with e-payment use the URL, register and pay online
  • Direct: Aspirants can obtain the application form from any of the following sources upon payment of INR 900/-.

BIHER B.Arch & B.Tech Admission 2018 Application fee

An application fee of Rs 900 is to be paid by aspirants for the registration procedure. The aspirants must pay the application fee by demand draft drawn in favor of "Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research" payable at Chennai.

  • The aspirants short-listed based on their performance in the entrance examination will be called for the counselling to be held at the BIHER.
  • The admission will be purely on the basis of the performance in the Bharath Engineering Entrance Examination (BEEE) organized by Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER).


  • Based on the ranking, admissions will be provided to the aspirant.
  • The meritorious aspirant list will be drawn giving 50% weight to an aggregate of total marks secured in qualifying examination & 50% weight to NATA score.
  • Admission to B.Arch. the program will be based on the aggregate of marks secured in the qualifying examination & NATA score.
