Banasthali University is a women’s University situated in Tonk, Rajasthan. The University strives for the overall development of the students I.e. At current the University provides different Undergraduate, Postgraduate & doctorate programmes in the departments of Humanities, Science, Engineering, Management & Law. The University is known for its equal emphasis on education and extra-curricular activities. from elementary education to research level.

The admission forms are available in the first week of February every year. Students can apply in both online as well as offline mode. The University organizes Banasthali University Aptitude Test to offer admission in B.Tech/B.Pharm/B.Design & B.Ed programmes.

Banasthali University UG Admission 2018 Application Procedure

BA , BBA/BBM & B.Des

Banasthali University application procedure begins in February every year. In order to take admission in the Under Graduate courses provided by the University, students can apply online or offline as per their convenience:

Offline mode: Initially students have to send a Demand Draft (DD) of INR 800 (INR 900 in case of late fee)  in favor of ‘Banasthali Vidyapith’ payable at Vanasthali to:

Banasthali University UG Admission Procedure 2018

B.Des, B.Ed & B.Pharm

The University organizes a merit cum aptitude test to offer admission in B.Tech/B.Pharm/B.Design & B.Ed programmes. On the basis of marks obtained in the test, a merit list is prepared. Qualified students are called by the University authorities to clear the admission formalities or say counseling.

Note: The University grants final admission on the basis of 50% marks in the Aptitude test & 50% in the class XII examination.

Exam Format of Banasthali University Aptitude Test

The syllabus is based majorly on the NCERT XI & XII books.  Reasoning section comprises both verbal & non-verbal reasoning. The questions are asked from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology subjects. Banasthali University Aptitude Test consists of three sections in total with multiple choice questions as discussed below:

Important points about awarding credit points:

  1. Total credit points honored under the points 1-4 cannot exceed beyond 5%. If in addition to this, credit points are also honored in categories 5-6, the total point honored cannot exceed 7%.
  2. Ex-students of Banasthali University, who have studied their last degree at the University and have studied at the university for 5 years will be given 5% credit points and 1% for every additional year.
  3. Credit points that can be honored under these categories cannot exceed 10%.

Admit card for Banasthali University Aptitude Test

Students can download the hall ticket for Aptitude Test via the official website of the University. In order to download the hall ticket, students have to enter their name along with the registration number.

BA , BBA/BBM & B.Sc

Students are selected on the basis of their marks in the qualifying exam. Successful aspirants are informed about their selection by the University. The admission council of the University, scrutinize the applications on the basis of student’s marks in 10+2.

Admission to Foreign/NRI/NRI Sponsored Aspirants

The University has reserved the limited number of seats in each programme for Foreign/NRI & NRI sponsored aspirants. Admission against these seats is based on the marks in the qualifying examination (as the students do not have to appear in the aptitude test). The at least eligibility criteria are 40% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination (for B.Sc programme 50% marks are desired). the Following documents are needed to be produced at the time of admission:

  1. Original certificates & marks sheets of the qualifying exam
  2. Attested photocopies of the passport & visa of the participant or guardian
  3. Foreign/NRI account number of the participant/guardian
  4. Statement regarding NRI status of the student or guardian

User Facts

  1. Only women aspirants are applicable to apply for the courses provided by the Banasthali University.
  2. Married aspirants are not applicable to apply for the Under Graduate courses except Post Graduate courses. After being admitted, if a student gets married before attaining the age of 18 years, her candidature will be canceled.
  3. Under special situations, the vice-chancellor can relax the condition except for the at least eligibility criteria. The final judgment will depend on the executive council only.
