Established in 1929, Annamalai University is the first private university and one of Asia's largest public residential universities situated in India. The university is one of the first institutions in the country to provide courses of higher education in science, engineering, humanities, agriculture, and arts. A pioneer in imparting quality education, it was taken over by the Tamil Nadu government in 2013 and has emerged as one of the largest public residential university with 10 faculties and 49 departments of study. The university also offers more than 500 courses via distance learning mode.
Faculty of Pharmacy at the university provides the following programme:
Admission of aspirants to the above mentioned programmes will be done on the basis of their performance in the qualifying examination.
Aspirants who satisfy the eligibility can register themselves by filling-in the related application form available at the university website. (LE) and Rs. 400/- for D.Pharm. Finished applications should be submitted to the university office, along with the processing fee of Rs. 600/- for B.Pharm.

B.Pharm. Pharma. (Lateral entry) – 3 years
Eligibility: Aspirant must possess diploma in pharmacy with at least 50% aggregate marks in the first and second years of D.Pharm. examination from this university or any other recognized university.
Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm.) – 2 years

Selection of the aspirant to B.Pharm (L.E.)/ D.Pharm. will be based on marks obtained in the subjects in the qualifying examination.
