The Department of Management Science (DOMS), Anna University provides MBA in two modes: Regular & Part-time. Classes for the regular program are held on working days from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Classes for the part-time program are held from 6:15 pm to 9:15 pm on working days and from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm on Saturdays and holidays.

Eligibility Criteria for Anna University Chennai MBA Admissions 2018
You must have appeared for TANCET exam for M.B.A. organizeed by Anna University.
AMIE with 2-years regular full-time Teaching experience / Industrial experience in the relevant field after passing all the subjects.
Aspirants must have passed in a recognized Bachelor’s degree of at least 3years period and obtained minimum 50 % (45 % in case of aspirants belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination.
Aspirants must have passed 10+2+3/4years format or 10+3 years Diploma +3years format or B.E. / B. Tech. / B.Arch. / B. Pharm.

Upload a photograph and take the printout of the Application Form after submission
You will get a unique registration number and password.
Fill in the need details on the form.
Send the hard copy along with the need documents and the Demand Draft.
Click on TANCET 2018 and Online application form.

The TANCET 2018 Application Fees must be paid in cash or Demand Draft.
Aspirants will be alloted the TANCET admit card if their Registration is successful and their TANCET application is in order.
Demand Draft of Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/SCA/ST aspirants) should be in favour of ‘The Secretary, TANCET, Anna University,’ payable at Chennai, obtained from any Nationalised bank.

Selection Procedure of Anna University Chennai MBA Admissions 2018
The selection of aspirant for admission to MBA program at Anna University will be based on aspirant’s performance in TANCET examination and counseling following the rules of reservation of Government of Tamil Nadu.
If two or more aspirants receive same marks in the qualifying examination, preference will be given to those aspirants who have passed the all the subjects up to pre-final /Semester/ Year and have a higher average percentage of marks up to pre-final/Semester/Year of the qualifying exam.
TANCET Exam Format
Part 3: Aspirants must response 40 Questions in the chosen field with 1 mark for each accurate response
The question paper will have three parts with Part 1 & 2 being mandatory and Part 3 as per the branch is chosen by the aspirants while filling the TANCET Application Form.
Part 1 & 2 will have 30 questions with 1 mark for each accurate response
The questions will be set at the undergraduate level.
Negative marking of 1/3 for every wrong response.
