Andhra University is one of the oldest universities in India founded in 1926. The university designed and implemented a Quality Management System and became the first general university in the country to get ISO 9001: 2000 Certification in 2006. It is situated in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Today, the Campus provides 17 undergraduate and 35 postgraduate programmes, besides research on par with technical institutions worldwide. The institution has had Sir C.R. Reddy as its establisher Vice-chancellor and Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan as the second Vice-Chancellor
In a recent survey organized by Star News, AUCE (A) has been rated at first position among the state-owned technical institutions in the country. AUCE (A) stands at No.1 position in implementing the programme in the country. TEQIP necessitated autonomous status to the College. The college is supported by Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP), a World Bank-funded project to develop technical education in the country.
The University invites applications for admission to the different undergraduate programmes for the academic year 2018-19. The admission to the programmes is based on the entrance examinations organized by different authorities. The programmes are Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Programme, Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Programme, LLB Programme (available in both three year and five-year terms) and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) Programme.

B.Ed. Programme
Eligibility Criteria
You must have passed B.A./B.Sc. or an equivalent degree at the graduate level depending on the requirements for the particular course with an at least of 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree examination.
BFA
You should have passed the HSC or 10+2 examination or its equivalent from a recognized board.
LLB
You should have passed any graduate degree examination of 10+2+3 pattern and secured an at least of 45% of aggregate marks from any recognized University. If you have secured less than 45% of your graduate degree, you should also possess a post-graduate degree. A 5% relaxation is given if you belong to the SC/ST category.
Nationality: You should be an Indian national only.
B.Arch
You must have passed the 10+2 exam or any other equivalent exam or IB Diploma on a regular basis, in the first attempt with English and Maths as mandatory subjects obtaining at least 50% aggregate.
If you are awaiting your 10+2 exam result, you may also apply.
You should fill the Application form online on the website of AP EdCET. You should then click on the “Apply Online” tab.
You will need to register using your email id & password. You should now make the payment of application fee using available payment modes.
Application Fee: You must make the fee payment of Rs.150 by selecting the suitable Registration Fee payment method from among AP Online, e-Seva, MeeSeva or Debit / Credit card.
With the payment of application fee, the registration will conclude. You must take a printout of filled-in Application Form and keep it safe for future use.
You should also upload your scanned passport sized color photograph and signature on the form.
You should then review the application form cautiously and submit the same by clicking on the “Submit” tab.
Next, the “Registration Fee Payment Process” Web Page will appear on the screen. BFA

You should also select your choice of centers from Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, and Vijayawada.
Application Fee: You should Registration and Application Procedure Fee of Rs.400 (Plus Bank charges eligible for the method of payment selected) as (and late fee if eligible) by opting any of the following modes of payments: Andhra Bank / State Bank of India Challan, Debit / Credit Card / or Net Banking.
After filling the online Application form with the need details, you should verify all the details cautiously and press Submit button.
You are filled in Application Form will be generated that contains Application number along with filled details.
You should then take print out of filled in Online Application Form.
You must use the Application number for future correspondence till the admission procedure including the counseling is finished.
Your registration procedure is now clear.
LLB
You should download the Application Form from the website.
You should fill the Application Form with the need details.
You should also select your choice of centers from the given 12 centers.
Application Fee: You should Rs. 450 as Registration fee by opting any of the following modes of payments: Andhra Bank / State Bank of India Challan, Debit / Credit Card / or Net Banking.
After filling the online Application form with the need details, you should verify all the details cautiously and press Submit button.
You are filled in Application Form will be generated that contains Application number along with filled details.
You should then take print out of the confirmation page for future use.
B.Arch
For NATA:
You should register on the NATA website with a valid email ID. You should register well in advance to get your preferred test date. Recruitments for the exam are scheduled on a first-come, first-cater basis.
You should then fill the form with the need individual and educational details.
Application Fee: You should pay the Application fee of Rs. 1250 either via credit card/debit card / net banking or you can generate the challan for depositing the payment via cash in any of the disciplines of the ICICI Bank all over India.
You shall need to pay additional charges as “procedures charges” for the following:-

You must then submit the Application online only. Your registration is now clear.
For admission to Andhra University
You should fill the Application Form online on the university website.
You should fill the Application Form with the need details.
You should also select your choice of centers from Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, and Vijayawada.
Application Fee: You should Rs. 900 as Registration fee for general category and Rs. 450 for reserved category in the form of cash or Demand Draft in favor of “Convener, Architecture Admissions, Andhra University” payable at Visakhapatnam from any nationalized bank.
After filling the online Application form with the need details, you should verify all the details cautiously and press Submit button.
You are filled in Application Form will be generated that contains Application number along with filled details.
You should then take print out of filled in Online Application Form.
You must then submit the printed copy of the Application form along with a copy of your NATA scorecard and the Demand Draft and send it to the Convener, Architecture Admissions, Andhra University.
You will be selected on the basis of the Ed. CET 2018 i.e., Education Common Entrance Test organized on behalf of AP State Council of Higher Education. Part-B will consist of General Knowledge having 15 questions and Teaching Aptitude having 10 questions. You will have to response 150 questions in two hours period with one mark for each accurate response. It consists of 100 questions for 100 marks.

You will be selected on the basis of AUCET Examination 2018.
The paper will consist of 100 multiple choice questions which you will have to respond in 90 minutes. Each question will contain four alternative responses (a, b, c, d). There shall be no negative marking.
LLB
You will be selected on the basis of the AP LAWCET 2018 i.e., AP Law Common Entrance Test.
The paper consists of multiple choice type questions carrying 120 questions. Section A is based on General Knowledge and Mental Ability and Section B is based on Present Affairs. Section 3 has 60 questions and will include of questions on Aptitude for the study of Law. There is no negative marking for inaccurate responses. It consists of 3 sections to be finished in 90 minutes. Every accurate response is honored with one mark and hence, the paper is for a maximum of 120 marks. Both the sections have 30 questions each.
B.Arch
You will be selected on the basis of National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2018 organized by the Council of Architecture. The test measures your aptitude via two sections - a paper-based section for drawing and computer-based section for aesthetic sensitivity.
Drawing Section: This is a two-hour paper where you have to attempt three questions. You must be able to secure 40% score in NATA, i.e. minimum 80/200.
The test is in two parts, a paper-based drawing test, and computer based online aesthetic sensitivity test. Your sense of proportion & perspective is also evaluated together with the sense of color and composition.
Aesthetic Sensitivity Test: This is the computer-based test where you have to response 40 multiple choice questions. The primary emphasis in scoring the drawing section is on your drawing, imagination and observation skills. The aesthetic sensitivity test measures perception, imagination, and observation, creativity and communication along with architectural awareness

The reservation criteria will be as per the norms prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
