Andhra University is one of the oldest universities in India founded in 1926. It is situated in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The institution has had Sir C.R. The university designed and implemented a Quality Management System and became the first general university in the country to get ISO 9001: 2000 Certification in 2006. Today, the Campus provides 17 undergraduate and 35 postgraduate programmes, besides research on par with technical institutions worldwide. In a recent survey organized by Star News, AUCE (A) has been rated at first position among the state-owned technical institutions in the country. TEQIP necessitated autonomous status to the College. The college is supported by Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP), a World Bank-funded project to develop technical education in the country. AUCE (A) stands at No.1 position in implementing the programme in the country.
The University invites applications for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Programme and Master of Computer Application (MCA) Programme for the academic year 2016-17. The admission to the programmes is based on the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test APICET-2018 to be held on May 16th, 2018. Both the programmes are of a period of two years. The entire Application procedure for admissions is online and must be finished by March 5th, 2018.

For both the courses:
You should have passed a recognised Bachelor’s Degree examination of at least three years period with minimum 50% marks for general category and 45% marks in case of SC, ST reserved category in the qualifying examination with Mathematics or one of the subjects at 10+2 level.
If you have obtained the qualifying Degree by Distance Method Program, it should have recognition by the joint committee of UGC, AICTE, and DEC.
Nationality: You should be an Indian national only.
You should fill the Application form online on the APICET website. You should then click on the “Apply Online” tab.
You will need to register using your email id & password. You should now make the payment of application fee using available payment modes.
Application Fee: You must make the fee payment of Rs.350 by selecting the suitable Registration Fee payment method from among AP Online, e-Seva, MeeSeva or Debit / Credit card.
With the payment of application fee, the registration will conclude. Then you will have to fill in individual, qualification, contact details in the form.
You should also upload your scanned passport sized color photograph and signature on the form.
You should then review the application form cautiously and submit the same by clicking on the “Submit” tab.
Next, the “Registration Fee Payment Process” Web Page will appear on the screen. You must take a printout of filled-in AP ICET 2016 Application Form and keep it safe for future use.
You will be selected on the basis of Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET) 2018 organized by Andhra University.
This is an objective type test and the questions are of multiple choice type carrying a maximum of 200 marks. Section A includes of Analytical Ability and Section B consists of Mathematical Ability with 75 questions each. The test consists of 200 questions of with one mark honored for every accurate response. However, for aspirants belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, no at least qualifying percentage of marks is prescribed.
It consists of three sections. It is for a period of 2 and a half hours. Section-C is on Communication Ability carrying 50 questions.
The exam is designed so as to measure your ability to think systematically, to use the verbal and mathematical skills and to assess your aptitude for admission into MBA/MCA programme.

You should be able to secure an at least of 25% marks (i.e. 50 marks out of total 200 marks) for general category.
The reservation criteria will be as per the policy of the Government of A.P. that is existing in respect of SC, ST, BCs, CAP, PH, NCC and Sports categories.
