Eligibility Criteria for UG Medical, Dental and Pharmacy

Duration: 4 & ½ year with internship of 1 year

BDS (Seats): 80

MBBS (Seats): 100

Eligibility:

  • Students should have finished 17 years but should not have finished 23 years of age by December 31.
  • The student must have passed 12th standard in the first attempt.
  • Students must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology & English individually and have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in English and 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology taken together, from any State Higher Secondary Board or equivalent.

Note: 1. NRI's and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) who qualify from foreign universities will have to produce an equivalent certificate from the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.

2. Students, who are going appear for the qualifying examination in March / April can also apply.

Post Basic Bachelor of Science [P.B.B.Sc] (Nursing)

Duration: 2 years

Seats: 50

Eligibility:

  • Students with senior School Certificate Examination (10+2), Pre-Degree Examination (10+2) or any equivalent qualification with 12 years of schooling from a recognized Board or University and 55% marks in GNM. The student should have RN/RM registration under KNMC at the time of application.
  • The minimum educational requirement shall be passing of Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years course)
B.Sc (Medicine)

Duration: 3 years of internship of 1 year

Eligibility:

The student must have passed 12th standard with a minimum of 50% marks in English and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology. Pharm (Regular) (Seats: 50)

Duration: 4 years

B. In place of Biology, Mathematics or Biotechnology or Computer Science is also acceptable. Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Emergency Medicine Technology)

Duration: 3 years

Students must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology.

Eligibility:

Bachelor in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology [BASLP]

Duration: 4 years

Students must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology.

Diploma in Dental Mechanics

Duration: 2 years

Eligibility:

Students must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology as mandatory subjects.

Application Procedure of UG Medical, Dental and Pharmacy

  • Students are recommended to keep the copy of confirmation page of filled application form for future reference. The entrance exam will be organized at Amrita School of Medicine, Kochi, Kerala (if applicable).
  • Students looking for admission in undergraduate courses will have to apply online from University’s official website. The application fee is needed to be paid via net banking/credit card or debit card.

Admission Procedure of UG Medical, Dental and Pharmacy

Final seat confirmation will depend on the rank obtained in common Entrance Test organizeed by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham at the National level. Admission will subject to the final judgment made by Supreme Court of India.
