APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, formerly known as Kerala Technological University (KTU), was founded by the Government of Kerala in 2014. It has been founded both as a teaching and affiliation university with numerous colleges running under its jurisdiction. The university provides the following programmes to its students under the College of Engineering, Trivandrum:
Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)
Master of Technology (M.Tech)
Those want admission to the above-mentioned courses must fulfill the need eligibility criteria before applying for the programme. Selection of aspirants to the M.Tech programme will be done on the basis of GATE scores. Interested students can apply for admission via the official website for CEE-Kerala/ DTE Kerala. The university also provides time to time reservation & scholarship to meritorious students.

Aspirants shall have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or 12th Standard V.H.S.E., C.B.S.E., I.S.C or any other examination considered as equivalent thereto
Aspirants who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50 % marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together are qualified for to appear for KEAM, conducted by CEE-Kerala
Aspirants must be an Indian National.
The aspirant should have studied the Graduate course in an institution approved by the AICTE / Deemed Universities in India.
Aspirants should have scored at least 60% aggregate of marks in the Engineering Degree examination. If seats are still remaining vacant, aspirants from other states will be considered for admission For SEBC (OBC) students, a minimum of 54% aggregate marks in the Engineering Degree examination is compulsory.
Aspirants who have passed their qualifying examination in Kerala will be given preference over all aspirants
In case of vacant seats due to lack of aspirants with valid GATE score, aspirants from Kerala State without valid GATE score will be considered for admission. For SC/ST aspirants, a pass in the Engineering Degree course is sufficient.
Aspirants should have studied a degree course of minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Engineering and Technology as a Main/ Subsidiary/ Core subject at the Degree level. For SC and ST aspirants, a minimum pass in the degree examination is sufficient.
For SEBC and physically handicapped aspirants, the aggregate marks need is 45%. For SC and ST candidates, a minimum pass in the degree examination is sufficient.

The aspirant can register themselves for the KEAM entrance examinations by logging on to the official CEE-Kerala website. The application fee for all aspirants will be as follows:

Aspirants can submit the prescribed application fee via any of the following two methods:
Students can obtain the prospectus along with the application form from selected Post Offices in Kerala and outside the State upon submitting the fee via cash.
Application fee can be submitted through Demand Draft (DD) in favor of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
Aspirants can register themselves for M.Tech admissions via online application procedure by logging on to the official DTE Kerala website.
Upon submitting the online application form, an application fee of Rs 500/- (Rs 100/- in case of SC/ST Aspirants) is to be remitted in any specified discipline of State Bank of Travancore along with the generated challan.

Aspirants want admission to the MCA course can obtain the prospectus and register online for the examination via the official website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE-Kerala). Application Fee for General and SEBC aspirants is Rs.800/- (Rupees Eight Hundred Only). In the case of SC/ST aspirants, the application fee is Rs.400/- (Rupees Four Hundred Only).
The need fee can be remitted at any discipline of State Bank of Travancore using the Bank Chalan which is generated along with the online application printout. Aspirants outside of Kerala State can submit the fee via Demand Draft for the requisite amount drawn in favor of The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
Finished applications along with the demand draft of the need amount of fees should be sent to the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE-Kerala)

Selection of aspirants to the B.Tech programme will be done on the basis of their performance in KEAM (Kerala Engineering, Agriculture, Medical) entrance examinations organized by CEE-Kerala.
Selection of aspirants to the M.Tech programme will be done on the basis of their GATE scores.
Selection of aspirants to the MCA programme will be done on the basis of their performance in entrance examination organized by CEE-Kerala.
