SRM University Chennai Admission

The SRM University generally conducts its entrance exam known as SRMJEE (SRM Joint Entrance Exam) foradmission. SRM University Admission process for its entrance exam (SRMJEE) start from the month of March to April every year. The University conducts entrance test for admission to B.Tech., and MBA courses. Admission to SRM UG medical courses is on the basis of marks scored in NEET exam. The admission to other UG and PG courses is usually merit-based. The application process for SRM University is both online and offline.

SRM University Chennai Online Application

The University allows candidates to apply online through its admissions portal, which is accessible through the SRM University official website. The steps to apply online are explained below:

1. Go to SRM University official website.
2. Scroll through the Admission tab at the top of the website and click on Admission India/Admission International, whichever is applicable.
3. Select the program to which you have to apply.
4. Click on the Apply link.
5. Fill in your details correctly.

SRM University Chennai Offline Application

The University conducts application process in the offline mode also. There are two ways to procure application form in the offline mode:

1. Downloading the application form from the website.
2. Purchasing application form directly from SRM campus.

SRM University Chennai Application Fee

The application fee for SRM University application form can be paid both online and offline. Online payment can be done by using a valid debit and credit card. In case of offline payment, it can be done through a DD drawn in favor of SRMIST, payable at Chennai.

SRM University Entrance Exam

SRM University conducts entrance exams for admission to its various courses. The admission tests are conducted separately for different branches of study.

SRMJEEE

SRMJEEE or SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam is conducted for admission to B.Tech. programs offered at SRM Group of Universities. The minimum eligibility requirement for applying to SRMJEEE is 10+2 in science stream with a minimum of 60% marks.

The SRM University application form for SRMJEEE is available on the website of the University or available at the SRM University campus. The SRMJEEE admit card is released on the university official website atleast a week before the SRMJEE exam.

SRMJEEE is conducted in the month of April. The exam paper is computer based and will be objective in nature. The paper will have 4 sections:

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Mathematics
• Biology

Physics and Chemistry are compulsory sections. Candidates will have the choice between Mathematics and Biology. A brief overview of SRMJEEE exam pattern is given below:

 

SRM University result for SRMJEEE is declared on the official website by the month of May every year. With the rank list, the University also publishes its counselling schedule for B.Tech. courses.

SRMCAT

The University conducts SRMCAT for admission to the MBA program offered at the SRM University campuses. The minimum eligibility to apply for SRMCAT is a graduate degree in any stream with a minimum of 60% marks.

The application process for SRMCAT is conducted in March every year. The application process is conducted both online and offline.

SRM University, Chennai

The Kattankulathur campus of SRM University is the main campus of the University and is also popularly known as SRM University, Chennai. It consists of three colleges and one school namely:

SRM Medical College

SRM University offers courses in health science through its two medical colleges. The said medical colleges are:

• SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Center
• SRM Kattankulathur Dental College

While the Dental college is situated in the main campus at Kattankulathur, the SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Center (CMCH & RC) is located in Tiruchirapally.

SRM University Semester Result

Students can check SRM University Semester Exam Result through the official website only.  Students should follow the below mentioned steps to check their results.

1. Visit to the official website of the SRM University & select your concerned campus.
2. Now click on the exam section followed by the result.
3. You will be redirected to the SRM University Exam Result.
4. Now enter your registration number & Date of Birth (DOB) along with the verification code & submit.
5. Your result status will be displayed on the screen. Save & take print out of the scorecard for future purpose.

2. No refund is permitted during the middle of the course unless the candidate withdraws.
3. Domestic hostel rates given above include admission fees, room rent, amenities fees, electrical charges and games & entertainment fees only.
4. Messing charges are not included above and are fixed Rs.53,000/- per academic year for domestic hostels.
5. Laundry facility through hostels administration has been discontinued and the charges are not included in the above. Students will do the same under own arrangements through local market/vendors directly, if required.
6. Refund is not permitted if the student is expelled from the hostel.

Fees charged by the Girl’s Hostel is same as above.
