The major purpose of the tie-up is student exchange, faculty exchange, Joint education programmes. Few of the partner universities of LPU are:

LPU has tie-ups with student exchange bodies like ISEP and AIESEC. LPU is the only university in India which has tie-ups with student exchange body, ISEP through which LPU students get the opportunity to study abroad – a semester to year-long programmes in 40+ countries. LPU also works with AIESEC to provide global exposure to its students through Internship opportunities.

University Hostel

LPU Hostels are the biggest in the country with the capacity to accomodate more than 10000 students. The Hostels are majorly of two type

1. Standard Rooms: Standard Rooms are lodge like arrangement where students can live in a shared 4/3/2/1 seater room with an option of having Air Cooled or Air Conditioned Ventilation.

2. Apartments: Apartments are 1/2/3/4 rooms with attached washrooms. These facilities are constructed to provide a luxurious accomodation. The apartment has common kitchen area, dining and lobby area. Some Other Feature of Apartments are

• Each Rooms has Pre-Fitted Air Conditioner
• Geyser for Hot Water
• Wooden Cupboards
• Curtains
• Mattress
• Upto Two Electrical Gadgets (With Maximum Load Upto 5 Amp) per Apartment (Exclusive For Apartments)

LPU Hostel provides On-Campus accomodation for Students, Teachers and Non Academic Staff, making it a biggest residential arrangement in the region. Some Key Facts to Know About Lodging Facility

• Residential Facillity are allotted on annual basis for students admitted for regular programs
• Dormitory Rooms are available within the campus and the allocation or rooms with or without attached washrooms is done at the time of reporting
• Rooms are attached with washroom, bed, table, chair and almirahs.
• Geyser and Cooler/Air Conditioner are provided in the room as per the selected rooms
• Electricity Consumed after the free limit is charged on actual basis. 
• In Campus Hospital and Ambulance is available for Medical Assistance 
• Mess Facility Provides only Vegetarian Foods
• Laundry and Gymnasium are optional on payment basis.
