SSC JE 2018- Staff Selection Commission Junior Engineer

SSC JE- Staff Selection Commission organizes SSC JE for the appointment of Junior Engineers to group ˜B ™ Non-Gazetted posts in two phases- Paper 1 and Paper 2. SSE JE 2018 Notification is already published by the commission. The final list of vacancies for SSC JE 2018 (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Quantity Surveying and Contract) will be declared later.

Aspirants can check some important points concerned to SSC JE-

  • Paper 1 is an objective type paper and is organized in computer mode. While Paper 2 is a written exam.
  • Remit fee of INR 100 along with SSC JE 2018 Application Form during submission.

  • Aspirants with a bachelor degree in civil/mechanical/electrical engineering are applicable to apply for SSC JE exam.

SSC JE 2018 Eligibility Criteria

  • They must have passed matriculation examination or equivalent examination from a recognized board as on August 1, 2016.
  • Participants who are ready to appear for SSC JE Exam should check their eligibility before filling the SSC JE Application Form.
  • All the applicable aspirants must hold the necessary educational qualification before they apply for the SSC JE Exam.
  • The verification of the eligibility conditions of the participants would take place at the time of SSC JE appointment procedure.

Aspirants who are the citizens of mentioned country are applicable to appear for the SSC JE Exam

  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
  • A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Bhutan, or
  • A subject of Nepal, or

SSC JE Age Limit

  • Aspirants should be of 18 to 27 years of age until August 1, 2016, in order to get applicable for appearing in SSC JE Exam.
  • There will be an upper age limit relaxation of 5 years to 15 years permissible in the case of SC/ ST, OBC, PWD categories as per the Government rules.

SSC JE 2018 Application Form

SSC JE Application Form is filled only in online mode. Aspirants who are ready to appear for SSC JE Exam, have to register themselves on the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in. The last date to submit the application form is November 3, 2016 (up to 5:00 pm). The aspirant should read the important instructions cautiously before start filling SSC JE application form.

SSC JE Application Fee

  • The SSC JE application fee is INR 100/-.
  • SSC JE application fee can be paid either via the online method or offline mode.
  • Women aspirants and aspirants belonging to SC/ST/PwD and Ex-Servicemen are applicable for reservation and are exempted from paying the fee.
  • The online method comprises payment via SBI net banking/debit card/credit cards.
  • However, the offline method comprises payment via SBI Challan.
  • Challan is generated online after the completion of SSC JE Part 1 Registration. Deposit the requisite fee in any discipline of State Bank of India and then continue with the Part 2 Registration.

  • It is an important document as it contains the roll number and exam center of the aspirants.
  • SSC JE 2016-17 hall ticket is available on the official website of SSC. Aspirants applied for the written test can download the hall ticket from ssc.nic.in.
  • Applicable aspirants can download their SSC JE Hall Ticket from the respective regional website.
  • An aspirant failing to produce SSC JE Hall Ticket will not be allowed for to appear for the entrance exam.

Selection Procedure of SSC JE 2018

SSC JE Appointment is organized for applicable aspirants for different Junior Engineer posts and vacancies. The SSC JE Appointment Procedure takes place after the declaration of SSC JE Results. Aspirants are shortlisted on the basis of their scores obtained in both the Paper 1 & 2.

Aspirants who successfully qualify the SSC JE Exam will be applicable for participating in SSC JE Appointment Procedure and shall be on probation for a duration of 2-years. During the duration of probation, aspirants would need to undergo such training or pass such examinations as prescribed by the Controlling Authority.
