JEECE 2018 (Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination) is a state level exam organizeed by JCECEB. The exam is organizeed to offer admission to B.Tech /B.E program in different colleges in Jharkhand.
JEECE is an offline method exam which includes 150 objective type questions in English and Hindi. Given below is the marking scheme for JEECE 2018: Physics and Chemistry is organizeed in one shift while Mathematics is organizeed in another shift. Time allotted for the exam is 3 hours. Responses must be marked by darkening their choice in the OMR Sheet offered. There are three sections in the paper- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Aspirants are asked questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of Class 11 and 12 Syllabus. In Physics, the maximum number of questions are expected to come from Present Electricity. In Chemistry, there are a lot of questions from Thermodynamics. Mathematics section comprises questions from Calculus and its applications.

JEECE 2018 Hall Ticket will be available one or two weeks before the commencement of the exam. JEECE Admit card offers details such as Aspirant’s name, Roll Number, Photograph, Date of Birth, Exam Venue, Exam Date, Timings, etc. JEECE 2018 Hall Ticket will be allowed in online method only. There will be no correspondence done through offline mode. Aspirants will have to bring the hall ticket along with one photo ID proof to the examination hall.

Admit card of JEECE 2018 will contain the detailed address of the exam centre. Aspirants need to download their JEECE 2018 Admit card to know the allotted exam centre. In some case, JEECE reserves its discretion to allow a centre other than that of aspirant’s choice. Most of the time it is same as aspirants fill at the time of submission of the application form. The admit card will be available for aspirants tentatively one or two weeks before JEECE 2018 is organizeed.

JEECE 2018 will be organizeed in the offline mode. All the questions will be based on 10+2 syllabus. There are 3 sections in the exam. The medium of the exam will be English and Hindi. It will be Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The period of the exam will be 3 hours.
There will be total 150 multiple choice questions, 50 questions from each section. Aspirants will be offered an OMR sheet to mark their responses. All questions will carry 1 mark. Negative marking will also be there and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each inaccurate response. There will be no marks honoured of deducted for unresponsive questions. Aspirants will be honoured 1 mark for each accurate response.

The question paper for JEECE 2018 will be based on a common syllabus notified by CBSE for Class 12. JEECE 2018 Syllabus includes three subjects PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics). Each subject carries equal weight age of questions. Each section carries 50 questions.

JEECE 2018 Result will be released by the organizing authority in the 4th week of May 2018. The result will be declared online and can be checked on the official website of JCECEB. The steps to download the JEECE 2018 Results are mentioned below:
The related authority displays JEECE 2018 Response Key on their official website. Aspirants can check their answers against this response key. There is no provision for rechecking of the response sheet in any case. The response key is expected to be uploaded on the official website before the declaration of JEECE 2018 Result.
On the basis of aspirants’ performance in JEECE 2018, a merit/scorecard will be declared. If two or more aspirants obtained equal marks, then JCECE Board determines a sequence of preference for tie-breaking: The merit list will comprise combined merit list and category wise merit list.

Aspirants will be called for counseling process based on the rank scored by them in JEECE 2018. The counseling will be held in two stages/rounds. It will be organizeed by JCECEB only.
If seats are still remaining, 2nd round of counseling will be organizeed. Aspirants who came in the 1st round can also appear again if they desire to change their course.
