XAT 2019 Registration is an online procedure. XAT Registration 2019 involves 5 steps, which are Registration, Filling of XAT Application Form 2019, Fee Payment, Uploading Documents, and Form Submission. The application form can be accessed on the official portal i.e. www.xatonline.in. Aspirants can submit XAT Application Form 2019 from August, 2018 until November, 2018. Each step is described below:

XAT 2019 Admit card is expected to be made available on the official portal in December 2018. Admit cards of only those aspirants who’s XAT Application Form 2019 has been accepted, will be available for download.
XLRI will not send hard copies of XAT 2019 Hall Ticket through email or courier to any participants. It has to be downloaded from the official website.
XAT Hall Ticket 2019 is a compulsory document that must be kept safe until the admission procedure. At the time of the test as well as selection and admission procedure, the hall ticket has to be supported with a valid photo ID allocated by the Government of India. XAT 2019 will be an online, computer-based test instead of the traditional offline, paper-based one comprising both objective and subjective questions. It is divided into 2 parts, namely Part A and Part B with 78 questions in the former and 25 questions in the latter.

Time allotted for solving Part-A of XAT 2019 is 170 minutes while Part-B required being finished in 35 minutes. And, as per the marking scheme for XAT 2019, there is no negative marking in Part-B while 0.25 marks will be deducted for an inaccurate answer in Part-A.
There is no officially prescribed syllabus for XAT 2019. XAT Syllabus is based on past trends of XAT question papers and syllabus is drawn from the topics which have appeared in earlier XAT exams. However, their composition, pattern, and number may change with each subsequent edition of XAT.
XAT 2019 Part A is an objective type paper covering Data Interpretation and Quantitative Ability, English Language and Reasoning, and Judgement Making. An indicative list of topics covered in these sections are:

XAT Part B is a subjective paper based on questions relating to General Knowledge and also comprises writing an essay.

XAT Result 2019is expected to be released online by the end of January 2019 by XLRI Jamshedpur. Successful students having scores that match the published XAT Cut-Off can proceed to the advanced selection rounds of Group Discussion and Individual Interview. Aspirants can reach their scorecards by visiting the official website i.e. www.xatonline.in. XAT Scores are valid for 1 year.

The cut-off score for XAT would comprise the at least percentile to be scored by each aspirant in the test. On the basis of XAT Cut Off, aspirants will be shortlisted for further Group Discussion and Individual Interview rounds for admission. Other participating institutes also have their personal Cut Off scores. XAT Cut Off varies for various programs provided by XLRI, Jamshedpur.

Aspirants will be shortlisted for the selection process in XAT 2019 on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam and XAT Cut Off scores. While some institutes have both GD (Group Discussion) and PI (Individual Interview) rounds, others only have either of the two.

The Merit List of XAT 2019 is created by including various components such as XAT 2019 score, performance in GD & PI, academic records, work experience, and the overall profile of the aspirant. The weight of these various components in XLRI is tabulated below. This division of scores applies to all the programs provided by XLRI.

It should be noted that post-XAT 2019, there will not be any centralized counselling process. Aspirants will be selected for admission to these Institutes on the basis of XAT 2019 cut-off score, performance in the GD/PI round and the final merit list prepared for the successful aspirants. Aspirants will have to personally apply for each Member Institutes of XAMI or other participating institutes of XAT 2019 with their scorecard.
