All aspiring aspirants for WBJEE 2019 can check their WBJEE 2019 Result by logging on to the official website of WBJEEB, i.e. www.wbjeeb.nic.in in the month of June 2019. The result will be published in the form of rank cards. Students have to enter their credentials such as their date of birth, roll number and security pin for checking the result.
Once WBJEE Result 2019 is declared, a merit list will be prepared accordingly. Students will be ranked on the merit list as per their scores in the exam. Those who have successfully completed the examination will be called for counseling. For completing the exam, participants will have to score more than the cut off marks.
After the commencement of WBJEE Counseling, aspirants will be offered seats in the various participating institutions. WBJEE 2019 is conducted by West Bengal Entrance Examinations Board. WBJEE 2019 How to Check Result?
WBJEE Result 2019 can be accessed in the online method only by visiting the official website. It will be declared tentatively in the month of June 2019. The result will not be sent to the aspirant’s address through post or any other mode.
WBJEE 2019 Result can be checked by following the below steps:
- Click on the “Get Result” button
- On the website homepage, search for the link “WBJEE 2019 Result”
- Visit the official website of WBJEEB i.e. “www.wbjeeb.nic.in”
- Click on the link
- Enter the information such as Admit Card Number, Date of Birth and security pin
After clicking on the button, the result will be displayed on the screen. Students can download and take the printout of the result for future reference.
WBJEE Scorecard 2019 Details
Scorecard contains the information concerned with the marks obtained by the aspirant in an exam. For checking or downloading WBJEE 2019 Scorecard, students have to enter their unique id and password. Students are advised to take the printout of the scorecard for future use.

Response Key for WBJEE 2019
WBJEE 2019 Response Key will be announced soon after the completion of an exam. Students must keep their eyes on the website to get the latest updates. The Response key is announced differently for all the sets i.e. A, B, C and D. It can be easily downloaded from the official website. It will help aspirants to calculate their scores and analyze their performance.

Aspirants can cross-check their responses and get a fair idea of their performance once they download WBJEE 2019 Response Key. They have advised preserving the response key for future reference. If aspirants come across any discrepancy in the response key, they can challenge the same by paying INR 500 per question. This amount is non-refundable and can be paid through Net banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card or via e-Challan.
Merit List for WBJEE 2019
WBJEE 2019 Merit list is prepared by WBJEEB on the basis of students’ score in WBJEE exam. They will be allotted ranks in the merit list according to their scores. To check the merit list, students have to enter their roll number and date of birth. The merit list is available in pdf pattern.
- A separate merit list will be prepared for the respective category such as SC rank, ST rank, OBC-A rank, OBC-B rank, PwD rank, TFW rank. However, for counseling and seat allocation procedure, general merit rank will be applied.
- The ranking in the merit list will be done in the descending order of the total marks secured by the aspirants in all the subjects.
- WBJEE 2019 Merit List will be prepared in the style of general merit rank (GMR) for the admission of the applicable aspirants into undergraduate engineering courses provided by technical institutes of West Bengal.
- Two separate merit lists will be prepared for admission into Pharmacy courses and Engineering/Medical courses.
Tie-Breaking Criteria of WBJEE 2019
If two or more aspirants will have equal rank in the merit list, then they can check the tie-breaking criteria mentioned below:
- Less negative Marks in Mathematics and Physics took together
- Less negative Marks in Mathematics for only 2 marks question
- More positive Marks in Chemistry for only 2 marks question
- Less Negative marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry took together
- Less negative Marks in Mathematics and Chemistry took together
- More positive Marks in Mathematics and Physics took together
- More positive Marks in Physics for only 2 marks question
- More positive Marks in Mathematics and Chemistry took together
- Less negative Marks in Physics for only 2 marks question
- More positive Marks in Mathematics for only 2 marks question
If the tie still persists, then a date of birth of the aspirants will be considered. Elder students will be given preference.
Cut off for WBJEE 2019
On the basis of WBJEE 2019 Cut Off, aspirants will be allotted seat in the particular course. Cut off marks are the at least marks scored by the aspirants in order to complete the examination. Cut off will be decided on the basis of different factors which are as follows:
- Difficulty level of the exam
- Student’s performance in the exam
- Earlier year cut off trends
- Total number of students appearing for the exam
- Earlier year admission trends
- Total number of seats provided
- Reservation norms

Counseling Procedure of WBJEE 2019
As per students’ rank in the merit list, they will be called for counseling. It is compulsory for them to carry the need documents at the time of counseling for verification. West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board will organize rank-wise counseling in the online method only. For attending counseling, students have to pay counseling fees of INR 500.
