VITEEE 2019 Exam Format for the academic year 2019-20 is the same as that of 2018. As per VITEEE 2019 Exam Format, there are 4 sections comprising, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and English. VITEEE 2019 exam will be organized in 3 sessions. Aspirants have to response a total of 125 questions in a period of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
As for the marking scheme, 1 mark is honored for every accurate response and there is no negative marking for inaccurate answers. VITEEE 2019 exam is scheduled for April 2019. VITEEE Exam Format 2019 in Detail
VITEEE 2019 is a computer-based test comprising a total of 125 objective-type questions. Aspirants will have to mark responses on a computer screen by selecting the accurate option. Questions in VITEEE 2019 exam will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and English. The exam will be held in three slots, which are given below.

Important Instructions for VITEEE 2019
General Instructions
- Students must report at the test center minimum half an hour prior to the commencement of VITEEE 2019 examination.
- Electronic gadgets of any sort are not allowed inside the test center, such as mobile phones, calculators, etc.
- Aspirants must carry their respective VITEEE Hall Ticket 2019 allocated by VIT University.
- Students are not allowed to leave the center before the given timings as it might lead to the cancellation of their candidature.
Login
- After entering Username and Password click on “Sign In” button
- On the allotted computer, aspirant’s details (Name, photograph etc.) will be displayed
- At the scheduled time (usually 10 minutes before the exam), aspirants have to enter ‘Username’ as instructed in Admit Card
Reading Instructions
- Read instructions cautiously as they will offer all the exam concerned information.
- Timer count starts after clicking the button “I am willing to begin”.
- Click on “I am willing to begin” button
Test Taking Procedure
- Please confirm by clicking ‘Yes’ button
- Submit button will not be available until the completion of the exam time. The system will automatically submit your responses after Exam Closure time.
- Select any response out of the four options, by clicking on the circle button beside the option.
- To save your response, you MUST click on the Save & Next button, otherwise, it will not be saved
- In case, you seeking to mark the question for review, click on the Mark for Review & Next button. If a question is marked for Review, that response will be considered in the evaluation.
- Exam summary will be displayed on the screen with Subject Name, Number of questions, Response, Not Response, Marked for Review, and Not Visited.
- There is an option click on the question number in the Question Palette at the right of the screen to go to that numbered question straight.
- To change the already chosen response, you can click on the circle button of another option. If you seeking to cancel the response, click on Complete answer button.
Timer
- When the timer reaches zero, the examination will end by itself. There will be no required to end or submit your examination.
- The countdown timer in the top right corner of the computer screen will display the remaining time available to clear the examination.
- The countdown timer will start ticking down after you click the button “I am willing to begin”.
Sections (Subjects) Navigation
- The aspirant can change the section by clicking on the respective section name, anytime within the exam.
- The section, aspirant is presently attempting is highlighted.
- Questions in each section can be viewed by clicking on the name of the section.
- Sections in this question paper will be displayed on the top bar of the screen.
