How to check TS EAMCET Results 2018?

The results of TS EAMCET will be declared online. It must be noted that the scorecards will be available in online mode only. Candidates who appeared in the exam can check TS EAMCET Results from June 2018 onwards. Here’s is how you can check your result:

Step 1: Visit the official website of TS EAMCET 2018 i.e.

Step 2: Click on the result link. The tab is highlighted in yellow in the following screenshot.

Step 3: Click on TS EAMCET Result Tab, the following screen will appear as indicated below:

Step 4: Now, candidates required to fill in TS EAMCET Registration Number and Hall Ticket Number. Both the fields are mandatory to fill in order to view the final results of TS EAMCET 2018.

Step 5: After providing the required details, click on Submit tab. Candidates can then view all the details as indicated below:

Note: Candidates are required to take a print out of their results in order to participate in the next step i.e. TS EAMCET Counselling. The schedule for counselling will be released by JNTU Hyderabad shortly.

Qualifying Marks of TS EAMCET

The conducting body has clearly defined the qualifying standards for candidates appearing for TS EAMCET:

  • For general category, the qualifying percentage of marks for TS EAMCET 2018 is 25% of the maximum marks. This means, a minimum of 40 marks out of 160 marks is required to qualify for the next level.
  • Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Scheduled Caste (SC) categories are exempted from the criteria of minimum qualifying marks.

TS EAMCET Merit List

  • Applicants of reserved category qualifying the exam, will be assigned ranks on the basis of combined marks obtained in TS EAMCET (75% weightage) and in subject groups (PCM for engineering & PCB for science (25% weightage) of qualifying examination.
  • Candidates who qualify the minimum requirement of marks for admission through TS EAMCET will be considered for the ranking purposes.

Rank Card of TS EAMCET 2018

  • Candidates are advised to take printouts of the rank card for future reference.               
  • TS EAMCET Rank Card will be available on the official website of TS EAMCET after the result is declared.
  • Candidates should download the rank card by logging in through TS EAMCET Hall Ticket Number, Qualifying Exam Hall Ticket Number and Date of Birth.

How to download TS EAMCET Rank Card?

Step 1: Visit the official website of EAMCET.

Step 2: Log in by entering:- EAMCET Hall Ticket No.; Qualifying Exam Hall Ticket No and Date of Birth.

Step 3: The rank card must be downloaded and printed thereafter.

Step 4: Candidates are advised to take two to three prints of the same as it may be required during counseling to verify the marks and details.

Note: The validity of the rank card is in which the exam is given. Also, admissions to the B.Tech courses in Telangana are on the basis of the TS EAMCET Result 2018 and Rank.

Tie Breaker in TS EAMCET Rank List 2018

If two candidates have secured same combined score while calculating the qualifying marks of TS EAMCET 2018. The board will follow a tie break procedure for preparation of merit list in such circumstances. The two procedures, in order of their applicability, are mentioned below. The procedure for tie break varies for Engineering courses and Agricultural courses on the basis of relevant subjects.

Tie Breaking Procedure for Engineering Course

Following is the order according to which candidates will be given preference to break the tie:

  1. Total marks obtained in TS EAMCET
  2. Marks obtained in TS EAMCET Mathematics
  3. Marks obtained in TS EAMCET Physics
  4. The percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination
  5. Older candidate on the basis of Date of Birth

Tie Breaking Procedure for Agriculture Course

The order in which applicants will be given preference is as follows:

  1. Total marks scored in TS EAMCET
  2. The marks scored in TS EAMCET Biology
  3. The marks obtained in TS EAMCET Physics
  4. The percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination
  5. Older candidate on the basis of Date of Birth

* For Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders, the weightage of score would be decided by a committee appointed by the competent authority.

Note: The ranking for Architecture would be done by taking weightage of Architectural in equal proportion, Aptitude (Online Exam) - 50% and qualifying examination (10+2) (or) equivalent with Mathematics as compulsory subject) - 50%. The minimum qualifying marks for Aptitude Test in Architecture is 40% marks. The qualifying examination is 10+2 OR 10+3 years Diploma recognizes by the Central/ State Governments OR equivalent.

Cut off from TS EAMCET 

The cutoff is minimum marks secured by candidates to get admission into the desired institute. Following factors affect the cut off:

  • Number of candidates who appeared for exam.
  • Candidates who cleared exam
  • Seats available for courses.
  • Difficulty level of exam

TS EAMCET Counselling 2018

TS EAMCET Counselling is conducted by JNTU Hyderabad for final admissions. Counselling process will commence from first week of June 2018. The counselling will start after declaration of TS EAMCET Results.
