SSC JE 2018 Question Paper, Answer Key, Analysis and Cut off

SSC JE 2018 Paper-I is going to be held from January 22 to January 29, 2018. Exam for SSC JE paper 1 of Day 1 was held on January 22, 2018. SSC examination consists of two papers: Paper-I & Paper-II.   • The third section on Basic Engineering included 100 questions. Basic Engineering Section is further divided into three parts, aspirants have to attempt the part concerned to their course. Most of the questions are from general topics of Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering.
  • Most candidates who have taken the examination felt that this year Technical section was moderate but time-consuming.
  • The second section on General Awareness also included of 50 questions The questions covered a broad range of subjects including Biology, Economics, Polity, and Present affairs including books, people, and sports.
  • The first section on General Intelligence & Reasoning included of 50 questions. The questions comprised arrangement, set theory, number system and geometry.

How to Reach SSC JE Response Key 2018?

  • Aspirants appearing in the exam will be able to download the response key with the help of their roll number, password and examination date.
  • SSC JE 2018 Response key along with the question paper for Paper-I of will be announced online by the SSC few days after the exam has been organized. 
  • The response key of SSC Junior Engineer will help the aspirants to calculate their probable score and analyze their performance in the exam.

General Intelligence & Reasoning

  • An attempt of minimum 35-44 questions would be considered good as the section was fairly easy.
  • Most of the student find General Intelligence paper easy to moderate level.
  • The ideal time issued for this section would be 20-25 min.

General Awareness:

  • Nearly all the areas like Science, Geography, Sports, Economics, Polity, Present Affairs, etc. are covered.
  • A good score in this section could be 30-35.
  • Present Affair was asked for fewer marks. Most of the questions are concerned with Biology and Polity. 
  • General Awareness included questions from both Static and present GK with the maximum number of questions concerned to present GK.
  • Present affairs questions are of easy to the Moderate level of difficulty whereas the questions from static GK are more difficult to attempt.

SSC JE Cutoff 2018

SSC JE 2018 Cutoff is the at least qualifying marks set by the SSC to select aspirants for the next level of the appointment procedure.
