The Exam of SSC CHSL has been started from March 4, 2018 and would be organized till March 26, 2018. If you make 78-82 number of attempts, you will be able to surpass the cut off marks easily. The day triggers off in multiple shifts and the aspirant who is able to crack CHSL Tier 1 will be called for Tier 2. SSC CHSL Tier 1 Mar 5 exam had a Moderate difficulty level. SSC will announce Combined Higher Secondary Level exam response keys once all exams are over of Tier 1.

What’s New on SSC CHSL Exam 2018 – 

  • English language section was easy-Moderate, this time there was no RC (Reading Comprehension) instead there was 1 Cloze Test with 5 questions based on it and questions from it were of the easy-moderate level.
  • Quantitative Aptitude was of easy-Moderate Level. Most of the questions were based straight on Formulas and some were calculative.
  • General Intelligence(Reasoning) questions were of the Easy level. There were only 1 questions from the image.
  • General Awareness questions were asked from all aspects of GA, especially from Science section. Questions were asked from the constitution in a polity.
  • This year SSC has introduced changes in the exam format by reducing overall exam timing from 75 minutes to 60 minutes.

SSC CHSL 2018 How to Check Response Key?

Staff Selection Commission announces the response key in the month of July with all the question papers on the official website of Staff Selection Commission for the convenience of the aspirants.

Aspirants can download the response key by following the under mentioned steps-

  1. Log onto the official website of Staff Selection Commission i.e.
  2. On the Home Page, select the tab saying ANSWER KEY.
  3. Now choose your exam name which is SSC CHSL and clicks on the link.
  4. Choose your question paper by the number of Tiers and the response key will appear on the screen.
  5. Download and save it for further reference.

How to Calculate Probable Marks with SSC CHSL Response Key?

  • Calculate the total score.
  • You can add 2 marks for the response you attempt right and deduct 0.50 marks for every response attempted incorrectly.
  • Make sure that you download only the CHSL response key and don’t forget to cross check your tier.
  • The Response key is available for various tiers. Compare your response with accordingly to the related response key.
