Result of TISSNET 2018
TISSNET Result 2018 will be declared on
January 27 at 8:00 pm.
The result will be published online (tiss.edu) in the form of a scorecard. To check TISS Result, use your registered email id and password.
TISSNET is scheduled for
January 6 in online mode.
- The Score Card of TISSNET will recurrently Programme name, overall marks and qualifying status.
- TISS will also announce a wait list for aspirants who could not be selected for the programme of their first preference.
- Qualifying aspirants will be called for Pre-Interview Test / GD and Individual Interview round from February onwards.
- Cutoff marks for TISSNET 2018 are expected to be similar to the earlier year. They will be around 82 for general category and 72 for reserved category.
- The final TISSNET Result 2018 will announce on April 27, 2018, containing names of selected aspirants for MA (HRM & LR) and other MA programmes at all 4 TISS campuses.

- Visit official website of TISSNET 2018
- Click on the link “View TISSNET 2018 Scorecard”
- A Login page will open showing at top M.A. Admissions 2018-2020
- Enter your registered Email id and Password
- Your scorecard will be displayed
NOTE:
- In case there is some problem concerned with the scorecard, please write to [email protected] and mention Registration Number, Name, Opted Subject and clarify the problem.
- Shortlisted for PIT / PI ‘Yes’ indicates that participant has been called for PIT / PI Round for the selected programme.

Final Result of TISSNET 2018
In order to understand the final result calculation and its process, we first have to be acquainted with marking system of all the selection rounds viz.TISS NET 2018, Pre-Interview Test and Individual Interview. Details are as follows:

How is TISSNET Merit List Prepared?
For the purpose of merit list preparation, the distribution of marks of all stages is given in the above table. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of merit and the preferences indicated at the time of filling TISSNET Application Form. (Kindly Indicate your preferences cautiously as it has implications for the merit list) The procedure for Reserved Category and General Category aspirants is same.
TISSNET Result 2018 – Tie Breaker
When a tie exists between two aspirants,
- At first, the PI marks of the aspirants will be compared.
- In case PI marks of both the aspirants are equal, then PIT marks will be compared.
- If the PIT marks are also equal, then the entrance score of both the aspirants will be taken into consideration.
- Again if entrance score comes equal, then the aspirant older in age will be given preference over the one younger in age.
Rules for Preparation of TISSNET Wait-list
- Aspirants who get admission to the programme of their first preference will not be on wait-lists for any other programme mentioned in their list of preferences.
- If an aspirant gets admission into any programme which is their second preference, will only be retained in the wait list of the first preference. Aspirant who gets admission into any programme which is their third preference will be retained in the wait list of their first and second preference
- Aspirants, who got admitted in a programme lower in their order of preferences, will be retained in the wait-list of a preference higher in the order, till the seats in that programme are filled.
- In case, the aspirant qualifies in two programmes at the same time, when the wait list is activated, the higher preference will prevail. The Institute will provide admission only to the higher preference.
- When an aspirant who has already taken admission in a programme as per the first merit list is subsequently provideed the higher preference when the wait list is activated, he will be moved into the programme of higher preference and will be informed.
