Result of NEET 2019

NEET 2019 Result will probably be out in the first week of June 2019. The results of this medical entrance exam will be declared on the official website of CBSE or NBE.

  • Those who qualify NEET Cut Off will be called for counseling procedure by respective colleges.
  • Aspirants can check the results through online method only. No results will be sent through post or other offline mediums.
  • After the declaration of NEET 2019 Result, Cut Off will be declared separately categorized under All India Rank and State-wise Ranks.
  • Details current in NEET 2019 comprises Aspirant’s name, Roll Number, Percentile, Section-wise marks, Qualifying Marks, Total Marks, All India Ranking, etc.
  • The results will be put in the form of NEET Scorecard in which aspirants will find their percentile and All India Rank (AIR).

How to Check Result of NEET 2019 

NEET 2019 Result is released online. Those who have appeared for this examination can reach their respective result by performing the following steps: It will be available tentatively in Last week of June 2019.

  • Click on it and you will be redirected to a new page.
  • Do take a print out and keep it safely for future reference.
  • Here, enter your details such as Roll Number and Date of Birth.
  • Click on ‘Submit’ tab and your result will be displayed on the computer screen.
  • Go the official website of CBSE.
  • Find ‘NEET- Under Graduate Result’ tab at the top left section of webpage.

Also, it is important for aspirants to understand that they must not panic if the CBSE website doesn’t work correctly or pops up a mistake while checking with their results on the examination result date as there will be a lot of other aspirants too, trying to access out to their respective results simultaneously due to which there will be tremendous load on the website’s server. However, they would be able to reach it after 3-4 hours easily.

Scorecard Details on NEET 2019 

NEET 2019 scorecard is one of the important document which is alloted by CBSE on its official website. Without the possession of NEET 2019 scorecard, they shall not be permitted to attend the counseling sessions. It is needed by aspirants to get admissions in any of the medical colleges across India as instructed by the Government of India.

It is highly advisable to keep a print copy of the same safety and carry it along till they get admissions in the desired medical college.

It is compulsory for students to carry their NEET 2019 scorecard along with a valid government ID proof be it PAN card, driving license, Voter ID, Passport or Aadhar card at the given venue for counseling. They shall not be allowed in the allotted centres without submitting the above-mentioned documents.

Scores Normalization of NEET 2019 

Normalization of NEET 2019 score defines the at least percentile required by participants to get considered for admissions in desired medical college for under-graduation or post-graduation. A total number of questions asked in the examination are 180 for which the total marks are 720 which required being responded in 3 hours.

Aspirant’s percentile is calculated by the CBSE and NBE authorities for under-graduation and post-graduation medical admissions, which is solely based on the total marks scored in the examination. The basic tentative percentile required to qualify category-wise is tabulated below:

The marking scheme in NEET 2019, to calculate marks and percentile is bulleted below:

  • Four marks will be honoured for every accurate response
  • There will be negative marking if multiple responses are marked.
  • One mark will be deducted for every wrong response

Merit List of NEET 2019 

NEET 2019 Merit List will be announced by CBSE. It will be a centralized merit list only, which is based on student’s performance, score in the examination, student’s category and All India Rank. The list is announced online, on CBSE’s official website after the results are out.

Each state will announce its separate merit list for each category in particular. Those who manage to qualify NEET will be called further for counseling and then admissions as per their rank. Students need to carry the below mentioned important documents to the counseling centre listed below:

  • NEET 2019 Scorecard
  • Reserved category certificate (SC/ST/OBC participants)
  • 10th standard certificate and mark sheets
  • NEET 2019 Hall Ticket
  • 10+2 standard qualifying certificate including mark sheets.

Tie Breaker

NEET 2019 is a highly competitive medical examination as it provides all the medical courses including MBBS and BDS across the nation. So, there is always a possibility that marks scored by two or more students tend to be equal and to resolve this tie, we required few tie-breakers. All the rules that will be implemented in such situations are mentioned below:

  • If still there is a tie, aspirants who have less number of attempted wrong responses in all the subjects in the examination are considered.
  • If still, tie persists, aspirants obtaining higher marks in Chemistry in the examination are preferred.
  • Aspirants who have scored higher marks in Biology (Botany & Zoology) in the Test shall be considered.
  • Aspirants older in age shall be preferred.

Cut Off from NEET 2019

NEET 2019 Cut Off marks are defined as the at least marks which student required to score to complete the test and to be considered for the counseling. The exam organizing authority is responsible to announce the cut off list, along with the results.

Different factors on which NEET 2019 cut off list depends on, comprises the following:

  • A number of aspirants appearing for NEET 2019 examination.
  • Availability of seats in various medical colleges
  • The difficulty level of the question paper.
  • Earlier year cut off list

The state wise cut off will vary for each category. Top 15% scorers in NEET will be allowed to participate straight in the NEET counseling procedure under 15% All India Quota.

Counseling of NEET 2019 

NEET 2019 counseling will tentatively be held from the second week of June 2019 onwards, after the examination results and merit list is released. There might be multiple counseling sessions depending on the number of students and seats available for under-graduation in affiliated medical colleges.

Students shall be judged on the basis of merit and their ranks released by the related authorities as per the marks they have managed to raise in the examination.

Selected aspirants will have to attend the scheduled counseling session in person with the original individual and academic documents as said by CBSE and NBE. Aspirants who have scored marks above cut off 2019 might get selected and if selected, seats will be allotted and hence, fees required to be deposited as per the college.
