Punjab Civil Services Exam 2018: Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) recruits the candidates for a variety of administrative posts in different departments of the state government. Aspirants can either apply for the post of deputy collector or can join the police department as DSP. PCS Exam / Punjab Civil Services Exam Eligibility Criteria 2018

Education Qualification

  • An Aspirant should possess a degree of bachelor in any subject of study from a recognized university or institution. The Aspirant can take preliminary examination while studying for his degree course. However, the Aspirant shall be required to produce proof of passing the degree course for being eligible to take the final examination during that year.
  • The Aspirants must have passed Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent standard as on the last date of receipt of ONline application form i.e 30th December 2018.

Age Limit

  • The age of the aspirants must not be more than 37 years and not less than the 21 years.
  • Applicants must have attained the age of 28 years for the post of Deputy Superintendent Police in the Punjab Police Service.
  • Age relaxation in upper age limit is up to 10 years for the disabled persons of Punjab.

Interested & Eligible aspirants may apply for PCS Only online by visiting the official website of PPSC. Aspirants are NOT required to send hard copy of the Online Application Form to the office of Punjab Public Services Commission.

  1. Go to official website of Punjab Public Service Commission.
  2. Select the โ€˜apply onlineโ€™ link present on the page
  3. The link will open and then you will be needed to fill the details
  4. Fill all the required details such as name, address, and details of educational qualification.
  5. Upload documents like Photo and signature.
  6. Take the print of the application form for further use.

Exam Pattern for PCS 2018

Punjab Public Service Commission Consists of Two Stages ie.

  • PCS Preliminary Exam and
  • PCS Mains Exam

For PCS Preliminary Exam:

Punjab Civil Services 2018 Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in Preliminary Competitive Examination; and Main Competitive Examination (written and viva voce).

PCS Admit Card 2018:

  • The admit card will be available on the official website of PPSC.
  • The website will have the details of the examination such as date, timing and the venue of exam.
  • There will be separate admit card for the Pre and Main examination.
  • Candidates can download and take the printout of the admit card.
  • Admit card will contain details like Date of Exam, Time of Exam, Exam Centre etc

Punjab Civil Services Result 2018:

  • The result of the examination will be announced respectively.
  • Punjab PCS Exam 2018 Result will be uploaded on official website.
  • The Pre exam result will be announced first. Those, who qualify the pre-examination, will be eligible to appear in the main examination.
  • After the commencement of the main written exam and the interview, candidates will get the result of the main examination, actually the final result on the official website.
