Odisha NTSE 2018: Question Paper, Response Key, Paper Analysis and Cut off

National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a national level Scholarship exam organized for class X students every year. It is a 2-tier examination. The result for stage I was announced on February 2, 2018. The aspirants who will qualify NTSE will be applicable for scholarship till Doctorate level of academic studies. Odisha NTSE stage I was conducted on November 5, 2017.

  • Second and final stage of this exam is organized at National Level (Stage II) by NCERT.
  • The first stage of this examination is organized at a state level (Stage I) and UT (Union Territory) level.

Odisha NTSE 2018: Question Paper

NTSE consists of 3 sections - MAT (Mental Ability Test), SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) and LCT (Language Comprehension Test). The distribution of time and mark will be as follows:

For every accurate response, the aspirant is honored +1 while there isnโ€™t any provision for negative marking.

  • Language Comprehension Test i.e. LCT is the second section having 50 multiple choice questions which could be responded in 45 minutes. This test is organized in English and Odia Language. The aspirants will get a choice to appear in only one of the two languages.
  • Mental Ability Test (MAT) is the first section which contains 50 multiple choice questions. They are concerned to reasoning and critical thinking which is to be responded in 45 minutes. The questions may be on analogy, classification, numerical series, format perception, hidden figures etc.
  • Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) is the third section which contains 100 multiple choice items in which 40 questions are from Science, 40 from Social Science and 20 questions from Mathematics. Time limit for this section is 90 minutes. Click Here NTSE Cut off 2018

Odisha NTSE Response Key 2018

The NTSE response key 2018 will let the aspirants verify the accurate responses with the ones attempted by them. One can visit the official website to find the official response key. One can also challenge the response keys along with the proof. Aspirants can compare their result and get a rough idea about the scores attained. To check the result, all aspirants must log in via Official Link only. They can check their qualifying status in their account for NTSE 2018 stage 1 exam.

How to Check NTSE Result 2018?

All the aspirants who appeared for NTSE Exam 2018 held on November 5, 2017 can follow the below given steps to check the result.

  • The result will be displayed on-screen.
  • Enter aspirantโ€™s NTSE 2018 Roll Number.
  • Click the NTSE Result 2018 tab on the homepage.
  • Download, save and obtain a print of the document for future reference.

Cut off  for NTSE 2018

Aspirants required to qualify the at least cutoff marks in the stage โ€“ 1 so as to qualify for stage II. It will be organized by NCERT.
