NTSE 2019 Result or Stage-1 will be declared state-wise in the month of January-March 2019 while that for stage-2 will be declared in June 2019. All states and Union Territories will be declaring their personal results on their official websites. Aspirants can check the steps to download NTSE 2019 Result further in the article.

Qualifying Marks for each paper is 40% of unreserved category and 32% for reserved category aspirants. CBSE organizes NTSE Exam in two stages- Stage 1 and Stage 2. Stage 1 for NTSE 2019 will be organized in the month of November 2018 while stage-2 is scheduled to take place in May 2019.

Aspirants who will successfully complete stage 1 are applicable to apply for stage 2 which is organized in the month of May. NCERT every year organizes NTSE 2019 exam for class 10th students for scholarship programmes. Every year around 1.5 lac aspirants apply for NTSE. However, only 5000 aspirants get the scholarships

NTSE Result 2019 Dates

Stage 1 for NTSE is usually organized in the month of November followed by the declaration of result in January. Aspirants interested in appearing for NTSE 2019 can check the important dates concerned to NTSE 2019 from the table mentioned below:-

How to check NTSE Results 2019?

NTSE 2019 Result will be displayed online on the official website of respective states and Union territories. Aspirants can follow following steps to check NTSE results:-

  • Enter your login credentials such as roll number and date of birth
  • Visit the official website of respective states or union territory
  • Your OMR sheet will be displayed on the screen
  • Click on the link “NTSE Results”

Note: Aspirants can also challenge the displayed OMR sheet for rechecking at [email protected]within the given duration of time.

NTSE Scorecard 2019 Details

NTSE Result is declared in PDF pattern and shows the different particulars viz:

  • Aspirant’s Name
  • Address of School
  • MAT Marks (out of 50), SAT Marks (Out of 50), Total Marks out of 150, Lank Marks out of 50 and Rank of the aspirant.
  • Gender
  • Father’s Name
  • Disability Status
  • Caste Category

Important Points for NTSE Result

  • Interested aspirants should send NTSE Application Form along with the photocopy of mark-sheet of the earlier examination before December 31, 2019.
  • Duly filled application has to be submitted to the Liaison Officer of State/UT and not to the NCERT.
  • Indian Nationals who are pursuing abroad can also appear for NTSE 2019
  • Stage II of NTSE is organized by NCERT and no fee is charged for Stage II examination.

NTSE Result 2019 for Final Stage

The scholarships will be honored only to those students who will successfully qualify stage 2. In NTSE 2016, around 775 General aspirants, 150 SC and 50 ST aspirants qualified the exam.

Note: Only Aspirants who will complete stage 2 are applicable for the scholarships i.e. it is compulsory to complete both the stages of NTSE 2019.

Expected Cut off for NTSE 2019

NCERT will announce cutoffs for both Stages varying category wise. The cut off is determined considering different factors such as difficulty level of the exam, number of aspirants etc. Aspirants can check the expected cut off for NTSE 2019 Exam

Aspirants shall receive an award letter, certificate of merit and details of the disbursement of scholarship in due time by the division.

NTSE 2019 Result FAQs

Ques. Will my scorecard will be sent to my home address?

Ans. No, aspirants can only check their results online. No scorecard will be sent through other modes.

Ques. What is the basis for the merit list you prepare?

Ans. NTSE Merit List for all the stages is purely based on merit. All aspirants who complete the exam and secure the set cut off marks, will proceed on to the next stage. Aspirants completing stage 2 will be granted scholarships.

Ques. Can you explain the reservation policy in NTSE 2019?

Ans. In NTSE Exam, NCERT follows the government norms of reservation i.e.
