NTSE Result 2018 Download Score Card

NTSE 2018 Results for Stage 1 will be released in the month of January 2018. The results will be displayed in the form of the rank list on the websites of the respective States and UTs. Students who qualify tier 1 exam will be applicable for the national level Stage 2 exam.
- A rank wise merit list will be put up on the website by the examination authority.
- Participants can check their result by accessing the login window of the official website www.ncert.nic.in.
- The final response key will be published within a week of organizing the exam.
- NTSE 2018 Results for Stage 2 will be declared in the 1st week of June 2018 by National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT).
- NTSE 2018 response keys will be announced in the 3rd week of May 2018.
- Candidates will need to sign a claim bill for the disbursement of scholarship. They must follow certain rules and regulations in order to receive the scholarship up to Ph.D. level.
- This list will contain the names of students that have secured NTSE 2018 Scholarship.
- The result of NTSE 2018 will specify the names of aspirants who are applicable to the scholarship program.
NTSE (National Talent Scholarship Examination) is a 2-tier scholarship program for deserving class 10 students organized by NCERT. Stage 1 will be held in November 2017 while Stage 2 exam will be held in May 2018.

The results will be declared on the official website of NCERT. All the important dates regarding the result and other procedures of NTSE 2018 are given below:

NTSE 2018 How to Check Result?
The organizing institute will declare NTSE 2018 Result of stage 1 in January 2018. The results can be viewed on the official websites of the respective State/ UT of the aspirant. It will be published on the official website www.ncert.nic.in. NTSE 2018 Stage 2 result will be declared in the 1st week of June 2018.
The exam organizing body will display rank wise results of all participants. Separate rank lists for each category- General, SC, and ST, will be displayed. The results will be put up in a PDF pattern that will have aspirant’s name, rank and other details.
The personal result for stage 2 can be viewed by following these few easy steps:
- They will need to fill in their Roll Number and Date of Birth in DD/MM/YYYY pattern.
- Select the tab of ‘Programs’ and choose the option of National Talent Search Examination from the drop-down list.
- Log on to the official website of NCERT
- Participants will be redirected to the login page to reach the result.
- The result shall appear on the screen. Save the file for future reference.
- After filling the details, click on the ‘Submit’ button.
- A number of links will appear. Choose the suitable link of NTSE 2018 Result.
In case candidates find a discrepancy in their result; they may contact the governing body. They can register their complaints via mail at [email protected] within the stipulated duration of time.
NTSE 2018 Details on Rank List
Results will be available to participants in the form of rank lists. NTSE 2018 Rank list will contain basic information of aspirant and their result. NTSE 2018 Result will also contain scanned images of SAT, MAT and Language Test OMR sheets of the personal.
The results will be valid only for the ongoing academic year and will not be valid after it. The details mentioned in the scorecard is:
- Marks secured in MAT and SAT
- Category
- Father’s name
- Disability status
- Roll Number
- Full name of the aspirant
- Address of School
- Total marks
- Gender
- NTSE 2018 Rank
Response Key for NTSE 2018
NTSE 2018 Response Key for stage 1 will be announced by the state authorities within a month of organizing the exam. Candidates can estimate a rough score to know if they will be applicable for the scholarship program. Different coaching classes will also announce response keys soon after the exam is organized. NTSE 2018 Response key for Stage 2 will be announced by NCERT on its official website in the 3rd week of May 2018.
Aspirants can follow the steps given below to download NCERT response key-
- Log on to the official website of NCERT. Select the option of NTSE under Programs tab.
- Download it and use it to cross-check the responses.
- Look for the option of ‘Scoring Key for NTS Stage II Examination’ and select it.
- Choose the suitable set of response key.
NTSE Cut off 2018
NTSE 2018 Cut off will be as decided by the governing body of NCERT. The cut off for NTSE 2018 is fixed and does not vary over the years. The cut-off is the at least qualifying criteria need by aspirants to qualify for the scholarship program. The names of aspirants who score equal to or more than the cutoff score will receive the scholarship amount up to Ph.D. level.
NTSE 2018 cut off score will be in the form of percent for each category. The qualifying criteria for the exam is said as follows-

NTSE 2018 Disbursement of Scholarship
Scholarships will be honored to students selected on the basis of final merit list once stage 2 result of NTSE 2018 is released. Candidates who qualify the exam will an award letter, certificate of merit and details of the disbursement of scholarship in due time by the division.
- If they fail to obtain the at least marks then scholarship for that year will be forfeited.
- They must score an at least of 60% aggregate marks in order to be honored the scholarship.
- They will need to fill a Claim Bill every year as long as they seeking the academic scholarship.
- Candidates will receive the scholarship account in the online mode.
- Candidates will be rendered inapplicable for scholarship payment if they fail to score the at least aggregate for 2 consecutive or non-consecutive years.
- This document will contain details about details of the student’s school/ college, course they have opted for along with the different subjects and total marks secured in the particular year.
About 1000 students will be granted NTSE scholarships every year. The amount of scholarship will vary according to the academic qualifications of students.
