NPCIL Appointment via GATE 2018- Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) has recently announced an advertisement of appointment via GATE 2018. This appointment drive is for the position of Engineering Graduates as Executive Trainees (ET 2018).

NPCIL is looking forward to appointing Engineering Graduates as Executive Trainees in many branches like Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation and Civil Engineering

The appointed aspirants will need to undergo an orientation program, i.e. training for a duration of one year. This training will be organizeed in any of the following Nuclear Training Centres of NPCIL at:

  • Kaiga (Karnataka)
  • Kalpakkam (Tamil Nadu)
  • Rawatbhata (Rajasthan)
  • Kudankulam (Tamil Nadu)
  • Tarapur (Maharashtra)

In order to successfully clear the training program, the aspirants have to secure a at least of 50% aggregate marks. The interested aspirants should keep in mind that these positions are all over India. Therefore, aspirants should be open to working at various locations. The current locations comprise the following: After the successful completion of one year of training, they will be recruited as Scientific Officer/C.

Salary Provideed for Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited 2018

The aspirants will be given the following compensation during the training period:

  • One time Book Allowance – Rs. 10,000/-
  • Compulsory Lodging (on nominal charge) & Boarding – In NPCIL Hostels.
  • Monthly Stipend - Rs. 35,000/-

Following will be the salary after a duration of one year of training:

Selection Procedure of NPCIL 2018

The selection procedure will be as follows:

  • The final selection is only on the basis of performance in the Individual Interview. The individual interview will carry 100 Marks in which an Unreserved (General) aspirant has to score at least 70% marks and reserved category aspirants including PWD has to score at least 60% marks to be qualified in the interview. Final merit list of aspirants will be prepared based on a number of vacancies and the marks scored in Individual Interview.
  • The recruitment of the selected aspirants as Executive Trainee will be subject to Medical Fitness.
  • Aspirants who complete the Online Test will be interviewed at NPCIL, HQ, Mumbai. The names of selected aspirants via Online Test will be posted on the NPCIL Appointment Website. Students will be informed via Email or SMS intimation for an interview will also be sent to the selected aspirants. Call letter for appearing in interview will available on the website for downloading. For outstation aspirants who are shortlisted to appear for the interview, two-way second-class sleeper train fare by shortest route or actual fare (whichever is less) will be given.
  • The applicable aspirants will be selected via an Online Test on Engineering Branches listed above.

Aspirants who wish to land a job in NPCIL should start preparing for GATE 2018 in full swing. NPCIL will announce a detailed advertisement on their website in the second week of January 2018. Aspirants should cautiously go via the GATE Syllabus and start preparing for the exam. Candidates may refer the same to get more insight on the openings at NPCIL. GATE Results will be released on March 27, 2018, on the official website.

Application Procedure for Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited 2018

Any B. Tech. A graduate who qualifies GATE 2018 can apply for the position of the Executive trainee in NPCIL. Aspirants ready to take the exam should fulfil the following GATE Eligibility Criteria:

  • Aspirants who are in their final year of such degree courses are also applicable to sit for GATE 2018.
  • The aspirant should have passed a Bachelor Degree course (4 years after 10+2, or 3 years after Diploma) in any stream.
  • The aspirants who have passed a Master’s degree program in any discipline namely, Mathematics, Science, Statistics or Computers Applications or equivalent degree, are also applicable to apply for GATE.

How to Apply

With this notification NPCIL suggests aspiring aspirants apply for GATE 2018 so as to be applicable to participate in the appointment procedure.

The GATE score is a ticket for admissions to postgraduate courses such as M.E., M.Tech. and Direct Ph.D. The GATE score is used by centrally funded Indian Institutes of higher education (Institutes which are given financial support by MHRD and other Government Institutions).

GATE Scorecard is also used by the Public and Private Sector Undertakings for appointing aspirants for their organisations. The GATE is one of the most complex examinations in the engineering field and most students dread taking it. But preparing for it beforehand and in the accurate attitude can help you get a decent score in the GATE exam.

GATE 2018 is scheduled to be held on February 4 - 5, 2018 and February 11 - 12, 2018. GATE 2018 will be organizeed in two sessions, morning and afternoon from 9:00 am to 12:00 Noon and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM respectively. The GATE Application Procedure has begun from September 1, 2018. Aspirants must note that the last date to submit their online applications for GATE 2017 is October 4, 201. Aspirants should refer to GATE Exercise Papers for preparing for the exam. Students should start preparing for GATE 2018. Therefore, not much time is left for the aspiring aspirants to register themselves for the exam!
