NMAT by GMAC Application Form 2018

NMAT 2018 Application Form will be available online at the official website of NMAT, www.nmat.org.in starting from July 2018. The procedure of filling the application form will be online only. Candidates interested in applying for admission in programs like Regular MBA, MBA (HR), MBA (Capital market), MBA (Banking), MBA (pharmaceutical management) at Mumbai campus or a 2 year full-time PG Diploma in Management (PGDM) at Hyderabad and Bengaluru Campuses can register themselves on the official website.

Application Form for NMAT 2018 must be filled with utmost importance as it will be used to create a profile for students in the exam.  A fee of INR 2000 has to be paid in case of late registration. Aspirants will have to pay an application fee of INR 1600 along with eligible taxes in the early stage to clear their registration.

Graduate Management Aptitude Council (GMAC) organizes this exam for admission in MBA/PGDM. This exam is organizeed once in a year. Aspirants must first check their eligibility to fill NMAT 2018 Application Form. Candidates required to qualify NMAT 2018 to get shortlisted for PI/CD round of the procedure. Eligibility Criteria for NMAT 2018

Aspirants must fulfil the eligibility criteria before applying for NMAT 2018. Any aspirants establish not satisfying the eligibility criteria will be removed from the procedure thereafter.

Mentioned below are the eligibility criteria:

For MBA HR (Mumbai Campus)

  • At Least Marks: Aspirant must have scored minimum 50% marks or equivalent to apply for the exam.
  • Qualification Exam: Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognised university.
  • Appearing aspirants can also apply for the same.

For MBA Pharmaceutical Management (Mumbai Campus)

  • The aspirant who has worked or presently working in a pharmaceutical company having a prior experience of more than 2 years can also apply. This work experience will be a plus for them in PI round.
  • Qualifying exam: Aspirants must have finished their Bachelor degree in any stream or post-graduation degree.
  • Aspirants appearing for the qualifying exam can also apply
  • Subjects: Aspirant must have a qualified bachelor degree in pharmacy, MBBS, BDS, Life Sciences, Science, BHMS, BAMS, B.Sc & M.Sc in Biotechnology or postgraduate degree in Economics, Psychology & Sociology.
  • Appearing aspirants can also apply for the exam.
  • At Least Marks: Aspirant must have an at least score of minimum 50% in Bachelor and postgraduate degree to apply for the exam.

For PGDM (Hyderabad & in Bangalore Campus)

  • Aspirants appearing for the qualifying exam can also apply
  • Qualifying Exam: Aspirant must have qualified bachelor’s degree in any branch from a recognised university.
  • At Least Marks: Aspirant must have secured minimum 50% or equivalent to apply for the exam


  • NRI/foreign aspirants can also apply but they required to fill the separate application form for the same.
  • Participant must be an Indian & should have finished his/her graduation in India.

How to Fill Application Form NMAT 2018?

Before filling NMAT 2018 Application Form, aspirants must read the information brochure cautiously. Application form for NMAT 2018 will be available online from the 1st week of July 2018 (tentatively).

To fill NMAT 2018 Application Form, aspirants must follow the following simple steps:

Step 1: Registration

Fresh aspirants applying for the exam are needed to register with a fresh email id and contact number at the website using the mentioned steps.

  • The system will auto-generate you a registration number and mail the same to your registered email id and contact number for documentation and verification.
  • Go to the official link of NMAT by GMAC i.e. www.nmat.org.in
  • Click on “New User” tab to get a registration form.
  • When you logged in, you will finally land up on the page where you required to fill all the need details for registration procedure.
  • After email id gets registered, the aspirant has to login again to clear the registration procedure.
  • Enter the need details and press submit.

Step 2: Form Filling

This is the step where you actually offer all the details that create your profile for the test. It helps the authorities judge your eligibility, your medical standards, earlier educational qualifications and other important details.

  • Aspirant required to log in again as a registered user by entering registered id and password.
  • Fill all the need information in application form cautiously.
  • The aspirant must note down the application number.
  • Once completing the application procedure aspirant can select the slot for the exam in schedule/reschedule exam category. 
  • Once registration procedure gets finished aspirants required to check their mail id to get the password.

Step 3: Uploading Images

This is the final step in creating a profile for the exam. Photograph and signature should be scanned and uploaded and thus one can be easily identified and thus it makes the procedure smooth.

  • Aspirants required to select the method of payment to pay the application fee.
  • After completing the application form, aspirants must take a print out of application form & keep it safe for further procedure.
  • Upload the scanned images.
  • The aspirant must retain the registered email id and mobile number till the admission procedure gets finished.

Method of payment: Aspirants can pay the exam fee through online method (i.e. credit card/ debit card/ net banking) or through offline method (i.e. demand draft).

Application Fee: Candidates required to pay an application fee of INR 1600 for timely registration. For late registration, aspirants required to pay INR 2000 as Application fee to get a slot for NMAT 2018.

Application Form Correction for NMAT 2018

Edit option for submitted NMAT 2018 Application Form is expected to be available from the last week of July 2018. The window for editing errors in NMAT 2018 Application Form will stay live until the 2nd week of December 2018. Facility for correction of errors will be available for students who have finished the online application procedure in all aspects i.e. Paid Examination Fee and Submitted Online.

All Students must note that they can change all data in NMAT 2018 Application Form Except Email ID, Mobile Number, Date of Birth and Address Details.

Retrieving Application Form and Other Details

NMAT 2018 is organizeed by GMAC which communicates via registered email ID and contact number.
