NEET MDS 2018 Analysis, Answer Key, Question Paper & Cut off

NEET MDS was successfully organized by National Board of Examinations (NBS) on Jan 7. The Result of NEET MDS 2018 expected to be declared on January 31, 2018. At Least cut off for NEET MDS All India Quota is 63.8 percentile. For reserved category, it varies from 63.3 to 46.2 percentile depending on the category. Check NEET MDS Cut off 2018

  • A large number of questions were framed from Basic Medical Subjects such as Pathology, Physiology, Biochemistry.
  • Exam appeared to be easy for some while others said that the exam was difficult.
  • Overall, Image-Based questions were scoring.

Response Key of NEET MDS 2018

NEET MDS 2018 response key will be released by NBE after the exam in the month of January 2018. Response keys help aspirants assess their scores in the exam. If the aspirants find any discrepancies in the published response key then they can send feedback to the examination authority. A participant can file their objection or queries over NEET MDS response key.

  • Visit the official website for NEET MDS i.e.
  • Take a print out for future reference
  • Then, click on submit button. NEET MDS Response Key will be displayed.
  • Enter the need credentials i.e. Application ID and Password.
  • Download the Response key and match response with your response.

Paper Analysis for NEET MDS 2018

Here is a detailed analysis of NEET MDS Exam held on January 7, 2018. This analysis will help aspirants appearing for exam, have an understanding of the exam format and difficulty level.

1. Overall Difficulty Level

  • As per the reviews of aspirants the exam was of Methodrate Difficulty level.
  • Majority of the aspirants appearing in the session reported that the exam was ranging between Methodrate to Difficult.

2. Types of Questions

  • The questions were more on the Theoretical side.
  • As reported by aspirants, the paper had a mix of Clinical and Theoretical questions, with some direct one liner questions and few clinical scenario-based questions.
  • Questions were more from the Basic Medical and Dental Subjects.

3. Decider

  • The exam included a large number of Medical questions.
  • Subjects which carried High Weight Age were the Basic Subjects such as Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Dental Materials, Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry and General Medicine.
  • 60-70% of the questions were from Basic Medical Subjects, while the rest was from Dental subjects.
  • Aspirants reported that a large number of questions were framed from Basic Medical Subjects such as Pathology, Physiology, Biochemistry.

4. Image-Based Questions

  • Overall, Image-Based questions were very few. Only 2-3 Image-Based questions appeared in both the sessions.
  • Aspirants reported that the paper included a few Image-Based questions, which were of Methodrate difficulty level.

Cut off for NEET MDS 2018

NEET MDS 2018 cut off marks will vary dependent on the category the participant belongs to. The cutoff for all categories is as follows:

In the event of two or more aspirants obtaining same marks, the merit position shall be determined using following tie breaker criteria in descending order:

  1. Aspirant who has more number of accurate answers in the paper shall be placed at higher merit position.
  2. Failing which, date of birth of the aspirant will be taken into consideration. Older aspirant will be placed at a better merit position.
