National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2019 is a national level entrance exam serving as a gateway for aspirants want admission into 5-year integrated M.Sc. program in Basic Sciences – Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. It is jointly organized by NISER (National Institute of Science Education & Research), Bhubaneswar & UM-DAE-CEBS (University of Mumbai-Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences), Mumbai.
Interested candidates for the exam must await the official notification which will announce in January 2019. Check below major highlights of the exam.
After the results are declared, NEST Counseling will be organized in the online method on the basis of the merit list and generally, seats are filled in the first round of counseling. A waiting list is prepared on the basis of the merit list if the seats go vacant.

NEST 2019 exam dates will be released in the month of January 2019 once the official notification is announced. The exam is scheduled to take place in the month of June 2019 which will be followed by the released result in the 3rd week of June.

It is important for all the students to fulfill the at least eligibility norms in order to appear for NEST 2019 exam. Those who do not satisfy the eligibility criteria will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
NEST 2019 Application Form will be made available from January 2019 in the online method only. So, the details once submitted cannot be edited. It must be noted that NEST does not offer a form correction window. Students must fill the form well in time if they wish to appear successfully for the exam.

NEST Hall Ticket will be allotted to only those aspirants whose application form has been successfully accepted. Students must check the website in the last week of April 2019 to download their respective hall ticket.
Steps to download NEST 2019 Hall Ticket:
NEST Exam Centers are predefined by the organizing body for the convenience of candidates. Students obligatory to select only three exam centers from the list of centers given on the official website. There are a total of 106 exam centers at which the exam will be organized.
There is no provision for the introduction of additional exam centers if a request is sent to the NEST exam authorities. Students must report to the center prior to the reporting time given on the hall ticket.
There has been no addition or subtraction of exam centers reported by the authorities. In case of any change in the list, students would be updated by the announce of an official notification.
NEST 2019 Exam Format has not been changed since the program started. NEST Exam Format is decided by National Institute for Science Education & Research (NISER) each year.
NEST 2019 exam evaluates the aspirant's skills and knowledge of the basic subjects studied at the +2 level. Thus, the questions will be of moderate to easy difficulty level, some might appear tricky but the questions are basic in nature. The question paper is designed keeping in mind the basic syllabus of NCERT/CBSE of 10+2 level.

NEST 2019 Result will be declared in the online method in June 2019.
