JEE Advanced Result 2019 will be declared in June, 2019. Aspirants can check their result by logging onto the result portal using their application number and date of birth which comprises category-wise All India Rank (AIR) of the aspirants. Aspirants can check all important information concerned to JEE Advanced 2019 Result. JEE Advanced 2019 is scheduled for May, 2019.It is a national level entrance exam managed by 7 IITs on a rotational basis for admission to 23 IITs.
JEE Advanced response key can be downloaded from the official website in the first week of June, 2019. JoSAA conducts combined counseling for JEE Main and JEE advanced rank holders. JEE Advanced counseling and seat allocation procedure are scheduled for June 2019.

JEE Advanced 2019 How to check Result?
JEE Advanced 2019 will be organized in May 2019. As mentioned previous, JEE Advanced response key will announce in June 2019.
JEE Advanced 2019 result can be checked on JEE Advanced official website. Steps to check JEE Advanced 2019 result are as follows:
- Click on ‘JEE Advanced results 2019’
- Visit the official JEE Advanced website i.e. www.jeeadv.ac.in
- Aspirants rank will be displayed along with their score in JEE Advanced
- Aspirants must download & take a printout of their JEE Advanced result
- Offer your roll no., date of birth & then click the submit button
Aspirants will also be notified about JEE Advanced result 2019 on their registered mobile numbers. In order to download personal rank cards, the aspirants will have to log in to their accounts. However, personal rank cards will not be sent to the aspirants.

JEE Advanced 2019 Normalization of Scores
Aspirants will need to qualify both Paper I and Paper II of JEE Advanced 2019 to be applicable for the merit list. Following is the formula to calculate JEE Advanced score: Scores secured in both papers of JEE Advanced will be taken for rank calculation by the related authorities.
Marks obtained in Physics = Physics marks obtained in Paper I + Physics marks obtained in Paper II.
Similarly, the marks for Mathematics and Chemistry are calculated. While the aggregate marks for JEE Advanced 2019 will be calculated using the following formula:
Aggregate marks obtained in JEE Advanced = Aggregate Marks in Physics + Aggregate Marks in Chemistry + Aggregate Marks in Mathematics.
Response Key for JEE Advanced 2019
The official JEE Advanced 2019 response key will be announced at the end of May 2019 at JEE Advanced official website. Aspirants required to follow these steps to download response key:

- Download the response key according to your paper code.
- Click on JEE Advanced 2019 Response Key
Aspirants can also challenge JEE Advanced response key. The last date to submit challenges or raise comments on the official response key is June 06, 2019. After that, no requests shall be entertained.
JEE Advanced 2019 Merit List
Aspirants who appear in JEE Advanced should note that both Paper 1 and 2 scores will be considered while preparing JEE Advanced Merit List. Aspirants who score the at least need marks in each subject, as well as the aggregate marks, will be comprised in the rank list.
If two aspirants score the same marks, tiebreaker policy will be used to calculate the rank of the aspirant.
Tie Breaker Policy for JEE Advanced 2019
If two or more aspirants score the same marks in JEE Advanced 2019, the tie-breaker policy will be used for ranking.
- If still, the rank doesn’t change, the same rank will be honored to both or more aspirants having same marks.
- The rank will be based on higher marks scored in Mathematics section.
- If still the same rank calculates, Physics section will be preferred for ranking.
Cut off for JEE Advanced 2019
JEE Advanced cut off 2019 is available only after the counseling and admission procedure is over. The earlier year’s cut off gives aspirants’ a fair idea about this year’s JEE Advanced cut off.

JEE Advanced 2019 Factors Affecting Cut off
JEE Advanced cut off changes every year. There are certain factors that affect JEE Advanced cut-off. Following are these factors:
- Earlier year’s cut off
- Number of seats available for admissions
- Difficulty level of the exam
- Number of aspirants appeared in the exam
Counseling Procedure of JEE Advanced 2019
JoSAA is the organizing body for JEE Main and JEE Advanced. However, it doesn’t guarantee admission to an IIT. Aspirants qualifying in JEE Advanced 2019 must fill up choices and participate in the seat allocation procedure.
Seats will be situated depending on factors like the score of aspirant and availability of seats during the counseling round. Aspirants should keep in mind the following points about JEE Advanced 2019 counseling:
- Aspirants must register and fill their choices on the official website of JoSAA. After that, lock and validate the choices.
- The online registration for JoSAA Counseling will commence from the fourth week of June 2019.
- It will be organized in seven rounds which may also change depending on the availability of seats.
- Aspirants must be among top 20 toppers in Class XII board or those who secured 75% aggregate marks (65% for reserved categories) in qualifying exam and aspirants with at least JEE Advanced Cut off marks in order to apply for Counseling.
- Aspirants have then situated seats and they have to report at the allotted centers for document verification.
There are a total 23 IITs providing 10,988 seats among which 5394 seats are allotted to general category aspirants, followed by OBC-NCL aspirants who are allotted 2870 seats. Rest seats are for SC/ST and PwD aspirants.
