GMAT 2018 Application Form will be filled via online method by visiting the official website. It is an online examination, organizeed to test four basic skills-Verbal ability, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative aptitude, and Analytical writing. Registration for GMAT can be done throughout the year. Aspirants who wish to pursue management courses like MBA, Master of Finance, Master of Accountancy from B-schools in India and abroad can take this examination.

Candidates can book test slot as per their suitability and availability of exam date. There is also an opportunity for aspirants to retake the test after 16 days of the earlier test if they are not satisfied with the scores. GMAT can be taken maximum five times within a duration of 1 year. GMAT score is valid for 5 years.

How to Apply for GMAT 2018?

Aspirants aspiring to take GMAT can undergo registration procedure at any time of the year. However, provision of taking the test will depend on the availability of GMAT Exam Dates. Hence it is recommended to check GMAT dates before applying. Aspirants who wish to apply for GMAT can perform following steps to register themselves:

Step 1: Registration

  • Now, create your account by entering details like first name, last name, email address and password.
  • Click on “Create Account” and tick “I Agree”.
  • Go to official website of GMAT
  • Click on “Take the GMAT Exam” available on the extreme right of the home page.

After creating your account, the registration procedure is followed by six steps namely, individual information, profile details, verify profile, schedule your exam, confirm exam details and payment procedure.

Step 2: Individual Details

  • Next, enter communication preferences.
  • In this section, fill address details and communication details including phone and mobile number.
  • Click on ‘Next’.
  • After creating the account, you will be redirected to a new page.

Step 3: Profile Details

  • A new page will appear after performing the above-mentioned steps.
  • Fill in your work experience details in given column.
  • Enter profile details, undergraduate education details such as year of passing, university name, the field of study, GPA etc.
  • Verify all the details entered and click on ‘Next’.

Step 4: Schedule Exam

Schedule your examination. Clicking the preferred date shows its availability as well as the available session slot to select. The aspirant can choose maximum three examination centres where he/she seekings to take the test. The exam offers great flexibility, where aspirant can choose his/her own date and time of taking GMAT. Once they select the centre of their choice, test dates available at the centre are shown.

Step 5: Confirm Exam Details

After selecting date and exam session, the next page displays the clear profile as well the selected date and slots to be confirmed. Aspirants are advised to cautiously examine all the information before they click next.

Step 6: Pay the test fee

Pay the requisite registration fee. Without payment, GMAT 2018 registration cannot be finished.

After completing all the steps of the application procedure, you will be successfully registered for GMAT 2018. Log in to your accounts and make changes in the exam schedule, re-schedule your exam, cancel GMAT recruitment, download free test preparation software, and view GMAT scores at given point whenever required.

GMAC offers the option of cancelling GMAT Exam. For this aspirant must visit the official website and click on cancel GMAT exam. For this, visit GMAT website, click on reschedule the exam and pay rescheduling fee On cancellation, the partial fee will also be refunded to the aspirants if it is cancelled within the stipulated time. Aspirants can also reschedule GMAT exam.

Important Documents Need for GMAT 2018

To clear registration for GMAT, there are certain instructions which must be considered cautiously. It is recommended to keep following documents willing before filling GMAT application form 2018:

  • Credit/debit card details for online fee submission.
  • Highly secured password
  • Document with individual details like your first name and last name

Application Fee for GMAT 2018

The registration fee for GMAT 2018 is USD 250. The payment of registration fee will be procedures via credit card or debit card. Only Visa, MasterCard, American Express and JCB cards are accepted for paying the fee via online mode. One can also remit application fee via Cashier’s Cheque, Money Orders and Individual Cheque which must be drawn in favour of Pearson VUE-GMAT.

Retrieving Application Number and Password

If someone forgets the application number or password of GMAT registration, he/she can retrieve it by clicking on ‘Forget Password’ or ‘Account Recovery Tool’ option. You should fill the following details when the new page opens with a form:

  • First Name/Given Name
  • User Name
  • Last Name/Surname

Form Correction for GMAT 2018

To make changes to your name, country of citizenship, or date of birth, please contact Customer Service for your region through email. To clear this procedure, you must offer proper documentation referred to below list for the change.

  • Documents for changing Date of Birth: Passport/Driver’s License.
  • Documentation for Name Change: Passport/Driver's License/Marriage License/Certified Record of Divorce/Certified Court Order
  • Documents for changing Country of Citizenship: Naturalization Paper/Passport

For any other changes, you can log in to ‘My Profile’ page on and edit your information.

GMAT exam is available in 114 countries with more than 600 test centres around the world. Aspirants may schedule test date and exam centre as per their choice and convenience. It must be noted that aspirants may take GMAT test up to five times in the duration of 12 months, but no more than once in a month’s period.
