GATE 2019 or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is a national level entrance exam for admission to postgraduate courses in the field of engineering and technology. It is scheduled for February 2019.

GATE registration 2019 will tentatively commence on September 1, 2018. Participants have to fill GATE 2019 application form via GATE Online Application Procedures System (GOAPS). All the aspirants have to apply online only.
The registration window will open until October 5, 2018. Application Procedure for international aspirants is same as Indians. International aspirants must possess a valid passport to apply for GATE 2019.

The application fee for female, SC/ST aspirants is INR 750 while it is INR 1500 for other aspirants. The application fee can be paid in either online or offline mode.

Aspirants are advised to download their GATE 2019 hall tickets from the official website of GATE 2019 exam. They have to enter their login ID and password to get the hall ticket.
The authority doesn’t send any call letters to aspirants via post or any other physical means. GATE hall ticket will be made available to download in the month of January.

GATE 2019 Response Key for all the papers will be published on the official website soon after the exam is organized. There will be separate question paper and response key sets for all the separate sessions. The response keys can be viewed by logging in using Registration details.
Aspirants can also challenge any response in case the accurate answer is not mentioned on the key. The aspirant can challenge the response key by paying a nominal fee.
GATE Result 2019 is expected to be declared in March 2019. The results are published on the official GATE website.

There is no common counseling held for admission to postgraduate programs. After the releasement of GATE Result, all the participating institutes begin admission rounds on the basis of GATE Scores.
For admission in NITs, IIITs and several Centrally funded institutions like IIIT Allahabad, IIITM Gwalior, IIITDM Kancheepuram, GATE 2019 Counseling will be done via CCMT (Centralized Counseling for M.Tech/M.Arch) as usual.
CCMT is an online admission program for getting into NITs and Central Funded Technical Institutes such as IIITM Gwalior, NIFFT Ranchi etc.
After the declaration of GATE 2019 result, state universities and other private institutes will organize GATE counseling for admission to M.Tech. program personally.
Different known PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings) appoint applicable and qualified aspirants for various posts. Aspirants are provided high compensation packages and other benefits (medical benefits and other aids). have recently announced notifications for PSU Appointment via GATE. CEL, MDL, GAIL, BHEL, Cabinet Secretariat etc.
Aspirants have to apply separately for the posts provided by different institutes. The application forms for various PSUs are announced on various dates and aspirants have to submit the application form within the stipulated time to be appointed by the PSU.
