Eligibility Criteria of CLAT 2019

For Under Graduate Program
The eligibility criteria of CLAT 2019 for LLB program are given below:
- Academic Qualification: Students must have passed 10+2 or any equivalent examination with an at least aggregate of 45% (40% for reserved category).
- Age Limit: The upper age limit is 20 years of age for the categories of UR/ NRI/ NRI Sponsored category as on July 1, 2019. This upper age limit is relaxed up to 22 years of age in case of SC/ ST/ OBC/ SAP category.
- Appearing Aspirants: Aspirants who are appearing in the qualifying examination in April or May 2019 are also applicable to appear in CLAT 2019 offered they can submit the need documents at the time of admission.
For Post Graduate Program
The eligibility criteria of CLAT 2019 for LLM program are given below:
- Appearing Aspirants: Students who are in the final year of the LLB program can also appear in CLAT 2019 on the condition that they are able to produce need documents at the time of counseling.
- Academic Qualification: Applicants must have an LLB or any other equivalent degree with an at least aggregate of 55% (50% for reserved category).
- Age Limit: The upper age limit is not prescribed for post-graduate programs. Personals of all ages are applicable to give the test.
CLAT 2019 Application Form will be available from January 2019 at the official website of CLAT. How to fill CLAT Application Form 2019?
To apply online for the national law entrance exam, students can follow the steps give below:
Step 1: Registration
- Upon successful registration, they will receive an email and SMS on their registered email ID and mobile number which will have their CAPS User ID and Password.
- Cautiously verify these details and click on ‘Register’.
- Log on to the official CLAT website i.e. www.clat.ac.in
- Click on ‘Apply for CLAT 2019 LLB/ LLM program’.
- Offer basic details about themselves like their name, date of birth, mobile number and email ID.
Step 2: Filling CLAT Application Form 2019
- Upload scanned images of their recent passport size photograph, signature, Date of Birth certificate (Birth certificate, Class 10 certificate, Aadhaar card, etc.) and Category certificate as per given specifications.
- Go via all the details cautiously and click on ‘Submit’.
- Login using CAPS User ID and Password,
- Search for CLAT Application Form 2019 and offer individual, communication and academic details.
- On uploading the documents, applicants can see the preview of their application form.
Step 3: Fee Payment
- The final step is to pay CLAT 2019 Application Fee.

Application Fee of CLAT 2019
Personals can pay the application fees for CLAT 2019 of INR 4000 for the General category and INR 3500 for Reserved Category which can be submitted through cash, card or net banking. Hall Ticket of CLAT 2019
CLAT 2019 Hall Ticket will be alloted to candidates who have successfully registered for the exam. Admit cards should be downloaded from the official website of CLAT. It will have the details about the aspirant such as his Name, Roll number, Date of birth, Time slot and the exam centre allotted along with its address.

Exam Format of CLAT 2019

The question paper for LL.B course will be divided into 5 sections which will have 200 MCQs while for LL.M course, the question paper will be divided into 3 sections having a total of 150 MCQs. Counseling of CLAT 2019
CLAT Counseling 2019 will be held soon after CLAT Result 2019 is declared. Aspirants must be current in person to attend the counseling round as per the schedule uploaded on CLAT website.
