CIL Appointment via GATE 2018 – Coal India Limited is appointing for the post of Management Trainees via GATE 2018. The selection of aspirants is based on GATE 2018 score, written test and individual interview. GATE participants are applicable to apply for Coal India appointment. The online application form is available from January 05, 2018 to February 03, 2018. SC/ ST/ PWD participants are exempted from payment of application fee. The application for GEN/ OBC category is INR-1000. Age Limit

The upper age limit is 30 years for GEN/ OBC category. The age limit will be calculated as on December 01, 2016. of India guidelines. There is a relaxation in age of 5 years for SC/ ST category and 3 years for OBC category. The age relaxation for Ex-servicemen category aspirants is eligible as per Govt.

Exam Format for CIL (Coal India Limited) recruitment through GATE 2018

The written test includes two papers i.e. Paper-I & Paper-II. The paper is bilingual i.e. English & Hindi. They will be called for individual interview as per the merit in the ratio of 1:3. Aspirants will have to obtain at least 40 marks in each paper (35 marks for OBC category and 30 marks for SC/ST category). Each question will carry one mark and there is no penalty for wrong responses. The branch-concerned questions will be asked in Paper-II. Paper-I consists of General Knowledge, Reasoning, English and Numerical Ability. It consists of 100 questions and aspirants required to solve the paper in three hours.

Selection Procedure of CIL recruitment through GATE 2018

The selection of aspirants is done via written test organizeed by Coal India. Candidature will be subject to verification of documents at the time of interview. The qualified aspirants in the written test will be called for individual interview. The final merit list will be prepared on the performance of aspirants in written test and individual interview. Aspirants with valid GATE score will undergo in the further procedure of the selection procedure.

Pay Scale

The selected aspirants will be placed as Management Trainee in E2 grade at the initial basic of Rs. 20,600 during the training period. Besides the basic pay, dearness allowances, HRA, medical treatment, pension etc. On successful completion of training, aspirants will be regularized in E3 grade at the initial basic of Rs. 24,900/- with probation for 1 year. will be admissible to the remuneration as per company’s rules.

Service Bond

The selected aspirants need to cater the company for an at least duration of 5 years. The aspirant will need to execute a bond of Rs. 3 lacs for the same at the time of joining. The deducted amount will be refunded with simple interest on completion of 5 years of service. An amount of Rs. 5000 will be deducted from their salary for 5 years.

Aspirants ready to apply for Coal India via GATE must know about the application process. They can apply by following these steps which are given below:

  1. Visit the official website of Coal India and click on Apply Online button.
  2. Read the important instructions and click on ‘I Agree’ button.
  3. Register by filling up the details like branch opted, name, category, contact etc. and click on submit button.
  4. You will receive user ID & password on your mobile no. and email id.
  5. Re-login via email, then fill up the application form and upload scanned copy of photograph and signature.
  6. Make payment via debit card/ net-banking and take a print out of the same for its future reference.

General Instructions for CIL (Coal India Limited) recruitment through GATE 2018

  • The company reserves the right to shortlist aspirants for the computer based test, reschedule the test date & venue etc. depending on the circumstances.
  • Aspirants employed with PSUs/ government bodies have to produce No Objection Certificate at the time of interview. If the aspirant fails to offer NOC at the time of the interview, then they will not be allowed to appear for the interview.
